Pip and myself are part of the meta test group…I can confirm sealed tourneys won`t be affected. There will be some kind of updating/crafting system to get the newer upgraded cards

Grinding missions will probably be easier. Don’t see much use otherwise.

Well, some changes are good and make cards usable, some others just break the sets to the point of being able to challenge awakening.

So, uh, the entire game will be so broken that it will make sense with itself.

When Apollo was first released there was a shitstorm about how game breakingly OP it was. And it was.

A year later it needs to be buffed to be useful. Need i say more?!

as someone else mentioned, could just make upgrades purchasable with x1 generator or 10 gold or something. just make a new tab similar to the current “sell cards” screen but have it do upgrades instead. early missions remain easy and tournys don’t get broken.

edit: oh, and buff strum please as long as you’re buffing cards. i have 3 of this useless thing :( juggernaut as well.

Mmm…I don’t know if anyone has thought about this, but as for the reward, instead of getting certain card, it would be interesting to get a badge that gives certain skill to be implement on a card you choose
(I have thought about this for years, but I think this reward fits best at what you suggested: reward for epic raid)

Let’s say at each honor (500, 1000, 2000, 4000), you can unlock badge with certain level of skill boost like…
Rally 1-3, All 1
Weaken 1-3, All 1
Seige 1-3
Armor 1-3
Rush 1
Protect 1-2
Enfeeble 1-3
Chaos
Jam
Cleanse
and it can be used on any card (commander, structure, action, assault) as long as the card does not have more than 3 skills
The skill added by badge will glow in blue color, and the badge can be removed
For each card, only 1 badge can be applied to it.

Let’s say you used Cleanse badge on Svetlana, it will have Protect Raider 1, Rally Raider 1, Cleanse
If you use Weaken All 1 on Dracorex, it will have Weaken All 2

As you can see, if this gets implemented to the game, it will change the whole game structure of the Tyrant, but one thing for sure is, it will give more room to create some unique and new strategy

if this is implemented, and I get an Aegis and Nimbus that have the old stats, I would complain about not getting the buffed versions. Also, would the upgrades stip a foil cards of its foil; I got a foil Nimbus.

-Maybe it’s too early to say, but will we start seeing all/majority of rewards & uniques getting the spotlight treatment? I know it may be tough to accommodate card overhauls especially to not completely shadow or imitate another card already with the same skills and rarity. Just don’t add in something as dangerous as the raid version of rhinos into the wilderness, but on the other hand I would enjoy a raid version of flux blaster. My main concern is to avoid spending time in testing something as low as un/commons such as Zealot, Vorpal Tank and Onslaught Lead, even in future considerations.

-Redeemer getting the first picks is awesome and I would definitely love to see a Xeno Overlord getting some sort of improvement either in HP or even as far as atk bonus to match Obliterator or at the very least be on par with Rifter.
-Otherwise improve Sacred Assassin’s skills +1 on the weak and strike, Petrisis get some more HP and additional [usefull] skill(Enfeeble2? yeah that’s not going to happen), and Grinder to 8atk,5hp and some arbitrarily useless skills like Counter1/Payback let’s make it happen! :)

Sure, a form of “upgrading” the card which thereby create multiple version of it is the best answer to seal tourney, but I hope Dev do not use that as an excuse to make upgrading cost anything at all.

This upgrade will make easier for it to survive until activated and, for instance, being an pain on the ass on Gold Sealed. Remember that this card was mostly used for rainbow decks, thanks to its universal Heal All 2 skill

*+2 HP. Will increase effectiveness versus Enclave Flagship and maybe Hover Pod spam

Draconian Queen
Cannot disagree, but it would be better to have one less cooldown than all this upgrade.

Hard to kill card becomes stupidly hard to kill

Remember GDR Battlesuit on Imperial Purger? Well, for once, Hydra is better than it

Sabre
Now they must buff Pathfinder to make it worth the ’’Unique’’ stat

But now even more a nightmare in sealed

Apex still feels nothing great, compared to hover pod and radiant dawnbringer it only differs a little bit in stats. Would be nice if it got disease, something that’ll make it more different from those 2 alternatives.
