Dear Synapse: polls vs forums

Forum threads with 16 pages of votes are a bit excessive.

SurveyMonkey is free and could have handled every one of the “polls” you have posted in the forums.

I’ve never used anything but SurveyMonkey, but Google seems to think that there are tons of alternatives. http://bit.ly/R9QTMb

In fact, you guys already have a pretty good tool for sorting through competing suggestions:

Please continue to ask for our opinions, but please consider using tools that fit each task: polling software for polls, forums for discussions, and Uservoice.com for suggestions.

Good idea. I like a poll with bar – Yes/No or options and with how many vote there than just say yes on forum.

too lateeee by the time the bar is out, majority of the active players who bother would have voted….
btw, i tot u can put a voting poll in kong forum itself?

They should make the polling on the game client, and the weight of the voices should be based on each players achievement on the game.

Majority is not always the best choice I think.
