Why wouldn’t they just get buffs? “Buy crappy card for 25WB; turn it into a better card with Gold!”
Seems odd.
It’s what I’m wondering about reward cards and Promos.
My guess would be that it’s because they appear in missions and raids, and the devs want their difficulty to stay relatively intact.
$o collector$ are forced to buy multiple$ to complete the $et$.
*assuming it takes multiple cards to upgrade
Cuz it’s one of the last pieces of Tyrant exit strategy – milk collectors once again.
