It’s best of 3 with unlimited deck changing (so it’s actually quite different from DNA’s rules).

I interpreted the rules as:
2 out of 3 – Pair with your opponent via PM at your leisure.
All cards are good to play with.
You can change any number of cards between matches. (No sideboard necessary, probably only have sideboard during the finals or something? I’m only assuming.)

lets say DNA goes 8/0, then someone who lost to him in the first round goes 7/1 they would both make it into the top 8
