Buggy ole Kongregate...

Lol…And I thought Kongregate was state-of-the-art?

My friends list is acting up again…7 friends online. Then I see who they are, and it shows three…

I suddenly got two badges that I was supposed to get weeks ago, and didn’t get badges that I was supposed to…

And I don’t see any avatars. Only “Avatar for (username)” where it’s supposed to be.

I’m not really complaining, I know it’s still beta; Just a couple of things for greg to fix when he has the time. Anyone know when Kongregate’s coming out of beta?

PS: How long does it normally take to recieve e-mails?

Also, Kongregate is in beta, so obviously it has a few bugs. You can see so at the top of the screen.

Yeah, I sometimes have those kind of problems too.

For example, once, I was going for the Bubbles 2 hard badge, and after I got the required score, the badge wouldn’t come up. I took a screenshot and opened up a new internet to send it to Kongregate, and then went back to the Bubbles 2 window, and the badge came up. (Five minutes after I got the required score.)

Also, the avatars don’t display sometimes for me as well. I hope Kongregate can fit fixing a few of these bugs into their very busy schedule.

As far as I know, this is due to enourmous server strain, generally around when new challenges come up. It doesn’t tend to happen much any more, ever since we got the new server.

The server is having lots of strain, I believe. It’s new after all, so just give it time…

And slipstream, its been happening the last 3 days.

Newgrounds’ servers can take much more than double of the 10,000 users usually online at all times here.

Also, Kongregate is in beta, so obviously it has a few bugs. You can see so at the top of the screen.

Hit F5 Till the site fixes itself. Everytime you hit it, he works a tad bit faster.

Look. This is KONGREGATE, not NEWGROUNDS. Kongregate is better than Newgrounds in my opinion, however, server load is not the answer. They guys at Kongregate are working as fast as they can under a heavy time schedual to get things better for the “needy” people who want it to be just what they imagine.

you can NOT say what you want to, and newgrounds has more bandwidth and more servers then kong does, ofc. they run faster
