The chat scrolling functions are highly finicky. If I want to scroll up a little bit, using the arrows, because I missed something, it scrolls me back down each time someone says something new in the chatroom, obstructing my search. If I scroll up using the block, it won’t scroll down as new messages arrive, but the scroll down arrow ceases to function properly.
This is especially a problem when the chat log is full, since it’s hard to scroll up a small amount in a large block of text.
