I can run Fallout New Vegas smoothly with the LOWEST setting possible with a screen resolution of 800×600.
My specs are…

AMD Athlon II 250 Dual-Core Processor
3GB DDR3 System Memory
640GB Hard Drive
Installed Ram 3.00/2.75 Usable
64-bit Operating System
And if you need anything else

EDIT: On Game Informers website, I saw a mod for skyrim that made the games graphics look really old, If I downloaded that would I be able to run it? And if you do know any graphic reducing mods please post them.

you probably won’t be able to run skyrim on that computer. Someone posted a youtube video running the game on the radeon hd 3000, but he had a phenom 2 quadcore to pick up the slack
though if you want to risk it, look up a guide on how to tweak the settings. http://www.geforce.com/Optimize/Guides/the-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-tweak-guide/
you should read all of that.

Skyrim was meant to be played on a good graphics card, and you will get less pleasure out of playing it on low settings.
If you can spend 40$ on a game, you might want to think about buying a low end dedicated graphics card which should let you play it on lowest settings without all the hassle of changing ini file settings.

usually the cpu doesn’t have too much of an effect on game performance, so i can’t give a definite answer. either way, it is going to be one heck of an annoying day getting the game to run. maybe you could borrow a copy from a friend to test it out?

I’d say it wouldn’t run too well, if it did indeed run. I would just pirate it and try it out (and try not to get too moral over pirating it just to see if you can run it, you can always buy it if you confirm it works).
