I wonder why Kon doesn’t use a well known Forum software?

Also, there are numerous threads dedicated to this question. Allow me to save you some reading and sum up:

Yes, the Kong forums are somewhat lacking advanced features. It is purely functional at this point. Kong is aware of this and plans a full forum overhaul in the future. However, other things (AS3 API, card game, etc.) are taking precedence since the forums are working, just not fully featured. Also, note the “BETA” designation at the top of the screen. This is not a final product, it is a beta test, and as such not all features are complete yet. Please be patient and rest assured the forums will be more advanced eventually.

Theres a thread called ‘about this forum’ at the bottom of the page discussing the forums. There is also the ideas and suggestions thread as well as the feedback/bug reports link.
