Kongregate won't recognize save files on laptop.

Hey there, i am having a problem of kongregate seemingly not being able to recognise the save files on my laptop. This has been going on for quite a few days now so i cant rly get any progress with games except for Backyard Monsters. I’ve tried bringing the save files to my home PC and it seemed to be working alright. Wonder what could be causing this issue, anyone out there who can help somehow? Didn’t have this problem with the laptop earlier though.

Edit: Nvm google chrome is causing this.

There was a Chrome update not so long ago that reset all Flash saves and settings in games. I suspect the issue is that Flash no longer accepts progress to be saved on your browser. To put settings back to what they used to be, go here, wait for the box to load, select “chat.kongregate .com” in the list and drag the bar right to increase your storage space. Since this update most likely caused all your Flash game progress to reset, here are the steps to recover your saves:

Go to “computer”, click the main drive (Usually C) and type “chat.kongregate.com” in the search bar. A few folders should appear. Click the one saying “[…]AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects[…]", copy its content _(To copy everything, press down the shift button, click the first item and last item without releasing, right-click and select “copy”) search for “chat.kongregate.com” again, pick the folder saying “[…]AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\PepperData\Shockwave Flash[…]” and paste the content of the first folder to this one.

But, if you don’t want to bother with all of this, you’re always free to play on another browser :P
