So, I utilize the /invite command extensively.

Yesterday when I was trying to invite someone, the command didn’t register and was posted into chat. I thought maybe because I was being lazy and using all lowercase for the person’s username, that was the reason it didn’t go through. It just happened again, though. I was typing out their name properly and I’m 100% sure that I didn’t hit spacebar first.

Whether or not a user is connected to the chat system (Or even exists) shouldn’t influence the invite command’s functioning (If the person is offline, a notification will inform you of that). Since it works for me, I’m assuming it’s a problem from your side. What browser/specs are you using?

Oh, I know. Even if the username doesn’t exist, KongBot should still recognize it and tell me the person’s unavailable.

It’s happened twice so far, starting yesterday. It doesn’t happen all the time, maybe 1 in 20-30 invites. I’m using Chrome 21, Windows 7. It’s too rare to attempt to duplicate on another browser.

That seems odd, I haven’t had that issue with inviting people, although I don’t invite nearly as much as you do. I’ll update if I notice anything, I am using Chrome and Windows 7 as well.
