Sideways Scrollbar on game pages using google chrome

Since the new kongregate design layout: When loading any game page, there is a sideways scrollbar that appears on the bottom of the browser once the page has fully loaded…

I use Google Chrome and do not use the window maximized. When adjusting the size of the browser window, the scrollbar disappears instantly. I have checked with other users in the chat rooms, and other people (obviously on a smaller resolution), also have the scrollbar appear with their browser maximized… They report that if they window mode, then go back to maximized, the scrollbar disappears.

I realise it’s not a major problem, and the scrollbar appearing wouldn’t bother most people, but it bothers me, and is obviously a design error.

This happened to me about a week ago, but no longer occurs, I’m not sure why…

on further testing, it doesn’t happen on all games… Only larger games – about the width of this text box… On games smaller than this text box it doesn’t happen. – the games I currently play where it annoys me is http://www.kongregate.com/games/DJArtsGames/bush-whacker-2 and http://www.kongregate.com/games/ConArtists/the-last-stand-dead-zone

Are you in incognito mode?

No, but just tested, and it happen in incognito mode also.

Interesting. Does your name show up okay in the top right corner of the game window, next to the plug?

Yes, in brackets, which I believe is normal… everything else seems to be fine, apart from the scrollbar that scrolls into a grey area.
