Did something change with chat

I am behind a firewall that blocks me from connecting to the chat service, so I created a tunnel and have successfully been tunnelling chat (port 5222) through it and it has been working great – up until about 3 days ago, now I can no longer connect.

Did something change, like the port number?

Please let me know. Thanks.

Perhaps the name of the Server? I am attempting to connect to chat.kongregate.com, is that correct. Please help.

Seriously? Nothing…This is really killing me…My setup was working beautifully until the server updates were made. Please help me out. This is such an awesome site.

Well, after some digging (I am way too persistent) I have found the solution. Turns out I needed to connect to a.kongregate.com, not chat.kongregate.com. I am now successfully connecting to the chat server from behind a firewall.
