Red Light Issues

I can connect to chat, but the little red light never turns green, preventing me from participating in the badges or challenges. I have tried restarting my browser and computer as recommended, but that doesn’t help. Port 5222 is definitely open, and I even tried to setup port forwarding on my router, but that didn’t help.

What can I do to fix this? Thanks.

System Specifics:

Mac OS X 10.5.1 (Intel)

Safari 3 / Firefox 2 (both latest versions)

Flash 9 (9,0,115,0)
