Game Saves

Okay my computer will not save Flash games and I’m getting pissed off because I’m now addicted to http://kongregate.com. For some reason Flash cannot create a save file on my computer, the error message reads,

“File creation failed, data will not be saved.”

“If you are using a swf on your computer, keep it in the same folder or else you won’t be able to load your progress.”

I gathered from this that for Flash to save things, it puts them in a folder on your own hard drive. I don’t know where this folder is or where my swf is.

Someone help PLEASE.

First, go to this link and make sure you have allowed Flash to store data.

You can also check Kongregate’s specific settings by finding its entry here, or by right clicking on one of the games, choosing “settings” and then clicking the 2nd tab that looks like a folder.
