Yellow plug (Limited Connectivity)

Hey all,
My plug is yellow, the question is, will I still receive badges?
Also, the yellow plug is not documented.

Try it out. I have had a yellow plug once before (at school) and it did send highscores, only with a great delay. So, try to get a badge, and if it doesn’t report, you can always send a missing badge report ;)

After some searching I found out my anti-virus (AVG) was requesting permission for firefox, but the notifier wasn’t running.

weird i thought the yellow plug went away when chat got updated months ago

The yellow plug means you’re connected, but through a process called BOSH.

Try allowing stuff through your firewall…

Something is restricting connections.
