Site keeps shorting out

When browsing Kongregate the broswer seems to cut off the monitor goes black. After a short time it comes back on at first I thought this was something to do with my computer but later found that this is the only site that I have ever been on that does this…is there something that I have to have installed on my computer for Kongregate to work to its optimal standards?

Make sure you have the latest drivers of your graphics card, that your monitor isn’t broken and that it is plugged in correctly. What browser/OS are you using? And are you sure it’s only for Kong and not for other sites with flash as well? If so, try reinstalling your flash.

If it’s the monitor that’s doing it, it can’t be Kong.

Im using Windows 7 now, when I posted this I was on XP. and have since installed the latest drivers and adobe flash player. It probably is my monitor I have no idea. I’m using Mozilla friefox, so it might also be the browser.

Yeah, it probably is either your monitor or some malfunction in your graphics card. Does your monitor completely turn off, or does it just turn black? Are all cables firmly attached?
