So, over the past weeks there have been dozens of threads created asking why users can't connect to chat or why badges aren't working anymore. I have been hesitant to create a sticky just for this item since the solution is already in the Frequently Asked Qestions (FAQ), sticky'ed to this forum as well as in dozens of threads on the first 3 pages of this forum (so no real "sticky" is needed to keep the thread high on the list.... there is always one already there).
However the threads aren't stopping. So if you are using Chrome, and you can't connect to chat, please read on.....
# THE PROBLEM
Google reciently pushed an update to Chrome to disable Flash by default. Since the Kong API is written in Flash, this means that, until you reenable Flash, chat and badge functionaltiy won't work.
# THE SOLUTION
Please read the FAQ, sticky'ed to the top of this forum (it is generally a good place to start if you have a technical question). Specifically, you should use the "[Why can't I connect to chat?](http://www.kongregate.com/forums/7/topics/241772?page=1#posts-5207536)" link on the first post. Then scan down for #7 in the list, which explains how to reenable Flash on Chrome.
Before you post about a problem you are having, check [The FAQ](http://www.kongregate.com/forums/7-technical-support/topics/241772-technical-support-f-a-q) as well as the other sticky's at the top of this forum to see if your issue is already addressed there. If not, then you can also search the fourm to see if your question has been asked already. If it is a new question, please feel free to post a question to the forum.
