Hello, I played Kongai for the first time today, but there is 1 problem. The opponent disconnected on me, but I get the loss??
I am on a secure network here, in this organisation where I am now, its impossible to lose connection all of a sudden, because they have to monitor certain people.
So could you guys maby explain me what happened and why I get a disconnection loss point.
Regards, pxes |

It will say a lose at first, but you will still have it count as a win as long as YOU didn’t disconnect. Just wait a few seconds. |

I checked again, it still counts as a loss. Ill explain what happened:
I was playing against the opponent, going really well
The game than stops when we both choose a attack
After a while (when I noticed things stopped, so I knew it was a DC) I waited
My character finally attacks, after only my attack, the game stopped
The second it stopped I could just go on browsing. |

It’s ok, you can use the edit button though…. Try it again. And when it is happening, press “Print screen”. Or just record your fights, so we can see it from start to glitch :) |

This may be related to a bug I encountered earlier, where my screen got stuck on “waiting for opponent” yet we were both chatting and I could see the applied debuff. Reloading the page fixed the problem. |

I just had this problem too. I got the “Waiting for opponent” while my opponent got the countdown and thus the power to give himself the win.
nifboy, are you saying that if you refresh your browser, Kongai will remember to go back to your game after it loads up? Almost sounds too good to be true. |

^^ what you guys wrote above is EXACTLY what happened, I think its fair if 1 loss would be removed to a win? (or at least written off) |

After reading all of these complaints, it really just sounds like a common glitch :/ |

It’s an annoyingly common glitch. My losses have gone up twice today because of it. I expected to see my wins up to 35, but I guess that was silly of me. |

They will work on it I am sure, but I know what you mean with the wins and loss streak.
I thought I was doing very well at my first 3 days with 25 wins and 7 losses, till the bugs kicked on me, now its 35 to 14 or something…
Good luck Bug tracking people! |

Here is a screenshot of this problem. Note that the light in the chat window is green. You can also see from the game log that there was a hiccup where the range phase was run twice.
From the top of the game log:
...
Range has changed to far.
Konspirator01 chose to pass.
Lawalpti chose to go far.
Range has changed to far.

There was another game where I was the one given the countdown and I waited. A similar window saying that we were disconnected popped up, but none of us lost any skill rank points. How can we get this to happen? |

bump
Does anyone have an answer to this? I understand that unintentional disconnects happen, but how do we prevent changes to skill rank points? |

One thing that would help a lot with this is is Kongai gave you the option of seeing your record of wins / losses – so that you can see whom you won or lost against, and when. It would be useful even for playing against another player a second time – if I had an opponent in a “random” match that was really evenly matched, maybe I would want to fight them again. |
