You fire up the game and it breaks/locks up upon starting.

Aracnophilia, Vector runner etc etc. All other flash games work perfectly. Bug reported as usual.

I am only missing Zina and Ubuntu from my cardset, I have all the rest. lo and behond, both these cards are for these are for games that do not work. Murphy’s law…...

Now…......

Fresh IE latest version from windows update – no addons. Windows XP Fresh install of latest flash and shockwave.

Tried it on three computers and no joy. Are they using standard flash or some custom vista only or some .net or OpenGL or GLIDE only stuff? I remember long ago, back in the days of flash 5, there was a game that needed you to install GLIDE stuff that was outside flash standard. Perhaps that is what the problem is, If so, what do I need to install to be able to play these games?

Secondly, can the Zina card and Ubuntu card be re-issued on a game that actually works in standard flash or shockwave without custom drivers needed?

are you sure, you installed the right flash player?
Cause IE need another version.

I played both games on both, Firefox and Opera. Works fine. ( But they use the same flash plugin )
I don’t even have shockwave ( installer doesn’t work )

I am using the correct flash player from adobe (version 9.something). All other Flash and shockwave games work 100% fine.

Every other Kong game works. Lots of people cannot get the Arachnophllia and Vector games to work. There is some libary of coding in them that breaks the flash standard.

I suspect DigYourOwnGrave uses custom stuff that is not present on all computers. Remember that old Flash 5 game that needed GLIDE installed to work? Well, I think its the same thing here. Perhaps some drivers for graphics or physics that some people might have, but a certain number might not. Some games needed VBurns installed, some dont. So what am I missing? This sure aint standard flash!

Read the comments on those games and you will see a lot of people cannot get these games to work. All I am asking is which extra addons do I need to install to get this to work.

BTW, I also cleaned out cache with ATF cleaner and with manually deleting the shared objects which stores flash saves. Thats not it. Its all down to some obscure driver or service that some people might have and others dont

Use the flash uninstaller on the Adobe website, then reinstall. Might help a bit

Are you sure? really really sure? You nee 9.124 or newer, like 10.x

All other Flash and shockwave games work 100% fine.

All other games don’t need the newest Flash Player. They works fine with 9.119

Remember that old Flash 5 game that needed GLIDE installed to work?

Nope, can’t remember it.

I only installed the flash Player for Firefox and thats enough.

a lot of people cannot get these games to work.

Most of them using the old flash player 9.119 ( or even older )

Have you tried FireFox? FireFox is using other flash plugin then IE. Maybe it will work. ( you can just start FireFox without login. Try to play the game as guest )

I downloaded a Fresh Firefox. Installed it.

It was missing flash so I downloaded fresh flash for it as well. Version 9.0.124something. The latest version.

Still same problem

The games do not follow standard flash and rely upon some libary that not all computers have. What is the extra Addon that I need? I am not useing any old version – only the latest vanilla installs.

Again – this is purely a local problem to those two games. All other flash games are 100% fine.
