Safari can't find the server

It seems I can’t visit any part of Kong on my wireless connection, but if I use my neighbor’s, it’ll work just fine. Any ideas?

Does your neighbour have the same internet service provider?

That might be the reason. The site’s been experiencing DNS issues and different ISPs would have cached the new/proper DNS information at different speeds. It’s possible that your neighbours ISP has the “good” info and yours is still holding onto the “bad” info. Try this:

  • Try going to this (chrome://net-internals/#dns) URL in chrome and clicking the clear hosts cache button.

  • Also try opening up a Command Prompt (search for cmd on windows) and type ipconfig /flushdns and press enter.

    Do you have any tips for a Mac? I tried resetting Safari, but that didn’t work either.

    Thanks Z, it seems the problem has fixed itself now. :)
