I'm not using this list, but it is still incomplete.
First off, there are patterns. For each length except 1, 8, and 9, there are exactly 4 combinations.
Length 1: all 9 digits
Length 2:
3 = 1 2 (minimum)
4 = 1 3 (we can't go to 5, because we could either increment 1 or 3 to achieve that)
17 = 9 8 (maximum)
16 = 9 7 (we can't go to 15 because we could either decrement 9 or 7 to achieve that)
The other lengths follow the same logic.
6 = 1 2 3
7 = 1 2 4
23 = 9 8 6
24 = 9 8 7
10 = 1 2 3 4
11 = 1 2 3 5
29 = 9 8 7 6
30 = 9 8 7 5
15 = 1 2 3 4 5
16 = 1 2 3 4 6
34 = 9 8 7 6 4
35 = 9 8 7 6 5
21 = 1 2 3 4 5 6
22 = 1 2 3 4 5 7
38 = 9 8 7 6 5 3
39 = 9 8 7 6 5 4
28 = 1 2 3 4 5 6 7
29 = 1 2 3 4 5 6 8
41 = 9 8 7 6 5 4 2
42 = 9 8 7 6 5 4 3
For those of length 8, there are 8 different combinations that are missing one digit.
Length 9 is
45 = 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9
For the long ones, it helps to use the 45 sum: if I have a length 8 combo worth 38, I quickly do 45-38 and see that the 7 is missing.
Or for a 6 long combo with 38, I also see that 7 is the difference to the full set, and since there are 3 digits missing, I know I can't use 1 2 4, since 7 is a unique combo of length 3.
(Btw, that's why your list was still incomplete, it didn't have all 4 length 6 combos.)
So basically I remember (or quickly add up as required)
1 = 1
3 = 1 2
6 = 1 2 3
10 = 1 2 3 4
15 = 1 2 3 4 5
21 = 1 2 3 4 5 6
and
24 = 9 8 7
30 = 9 8 7 6
35 = 9 8 7 6 5
and that gives me pretty much the rest with little thought, but also provides quick access to those combos with 2 alternatives, or similar.

puzzle 2

I had made a mistake early on and had to redo a small part of the puzzle to get the center to work out correctly.
