Funny thing is you designed parts of what I'm using 5 years ago, think "The Network"

To be honest I have no idea when I did that or how you got that work, but I do remember making some parts of the spreadsheet. I looked in my google dirve and can't find anything, so I'm guessing someone posted a spreadsheet and said "edit this" a long time ago and then I had some fun with it. It's pretty amazing that you pulled it up from so long in the past, and it's also the most detailed spreadsheet I've ever seen in a forum game, so kudos for that

I remember the period quite well. There was 11 of us in alphabetical:
10crystalmask01
Adv0catus
BLOODYRAIN10001
Bluji
Coolo2011
Hamuka
Helltank
Qwertyuiopazs
RandomTurtle
REALinsanemonkey
Spikeabc
The concept was created by Hamuka. I'm not sure how much I can give details on as it is techincally still classified information. But we all had a writeboard. We then discussed a overall setting where all the RPs are set. We did very well I remember I pitched a dystopian city where players used simulations to train their character. (Really it would have been an RP where you go around playing RPs where these other RPs were in fact games of their own) It was originally set so you can make a character in one game and go across to another with benefits from playing other RPs in the form of levels ect. Then came the devide with stats/non-stats, we set up a stat calculator sheet as we liked the prospect of leveling and stats and you made a spreadsheet "Stat Calculator", others didn't like stats as they felt it would slow the game down. I was advocating for the system I run in my game right now back then, hence I built the spreadsheet to show how my idea worked. The project collapsed for a few reasons I think and I believe Hamuka came out with a different setting with a different group of players later. The issues that caused the project to fail is we never trialed any sort of gameplay privately so we don't know what a system like this plays like. We had core issues and differences that we didn't discuss soon enough so that when a behemoth spreadsheet like "Network Tests" appears and it looks like hours has been poured into it, there is never a good time to tell the person doing that that you don't want to go in that direction. We also never really had enough of us around to come to a consensus. It was hard for people with less involvement to keep up with the changes going on. And therefore slowly everyone stopped working on it. I don't feel bad taking the contents of the spreadsheet as all the pull through and maths was designed by me. We had a lot of maths disagreement at the time to the point where we'd pretty much use our own equations and beat around the bush about it. Most of the spreadsheet I use now is exactly the same as that spreadsheet. I chose to make a copy as to A) Preserve what it was and B) To stop 10 other people having a hidden back door into my game mechanics spreadsheet with edditing permission. One of the funniest things about it is recently I discovered a half-completed hunter skill tree from you 5 years ago then later on that evening Flyingcat requests a hunter class. So I kept the half already in there and completed it. I think I phrase it best in my TL;DR summary here.
**TL;DR:** It took 2 people 5 years to design a single skill tree, that is the pinnacle of quality and detail that you can only get with a RandomTurtle game.

Hey, just brainstorming here, I have actually no clue how I'd do this at this current moment:
What if I, or someone else, held a Survivor-esque competition with say, 10-14 players? There'd be two teams of 6 or 7 needing to complete challenges or solve puzzles/riddles of some kind in order to win - the losing team has to vote someone off. The teams eventually merge, and when there are two left, all the voted out players vote for a winner. It's essentially just like Survivor, which I've been obsessed with lately.
Any thoughts on this? Should I attempt to do this during the summer (when I'm done with school)?

I don't think we have the numbers for it, but the format is very feasible. I know for a fact that Smogon uses Discord to run Survivor games.

Sounds like fun! I'd consider how lomg you need the phases to be (how much time to allow for each riddle), and then decide how long ypu want the game to run, and maybe also declare the final 3 the winners or something like that.
The idea of team-based solving is good!

Anyone who wants to can also take this idea and run with it, I don't think I have what it takes to run a game.
If you want to use this idea, go ahead.

Honestly, there's no better place to fail at hosting a game than Kong. You won't know that you don't have what it takes unless you try!
I do recommend joining the FGF discord, though, it gets you quicker feedback.

I'll pass on the Discord.
I just finished high school, so whenever I find the motivation to do this game, I'll just do it I guess. I'll have to work out some kinks, first.
**Just checking, if I made a Survivor-type elimination game in a similar vein as the TV show, who would be interested in joining?**

Hey guys, I'm currently working on an clicker/idle/incremental game and I want to hear your favourite features in these kind of games so that I can implement them. Thank you so much!

Hello, KXK11!
I would recommend checking out the Game Design forum (https://www.kongregate.com/forums/91-game-design), since I think that might be a better place to ask around!
This forum, Forum Games Forum, is about designing and creating text and image-based forum games, so it is a bit different from a clicker game. I am sure some players here could offer suggestions, but it might be better to create a topic over there.
