I think your thinking of a different riddle. The real answer is a remark.

Here’s another good one. Bet you wont get this on your first guess.
“I’m as small as an ant, as big as a whale. I’ll approach like a breeeze, but can come like a gale. By some I get hit, but all have shown fear. I’ll dance to the music, though I can’t hear. Of names I have many, of names I have one. I’m as slow as a snail, but from me you can’t run.” What am I?

Death? The last line is the part that really clued me in.

Huh. It can’t hear, yet can dance to the music…what is in music? Disco balls reflect…Light? That’s my answer. My answer is Light.
Edit: Thinking about it, the opposite, Shadow, also works.

I’m thinking of shadow, too. Since every thing have a shadow, and it can be as small or big as it wants to.

Yeah, but not a single other line makes sense. Mine makes far more sense. How is shadow as slow as a snail?

All of you who second guessed shadow are correct. And btw it is as slow as a snail because a shadow follows everythings speed. And riddles never make sense, thats the fun part about them. I’ll bring you guys another riddle tommorow.

jaxly i dont mind you posting riddles. This is supposed to be a fun thing. And by the way, very good riddle. I would have to agree with AC and the weeping willow. Anyway here’s another good riddle that is sure to stump people like yours:
“I have streets but no pavement.
I have cities but no buildings.
I have forests yet no trees.
I have rivers yet no water.”
What am I?
Very good one

I got one.
“I am the center of gravity hold a capital situation in Vienna and as I am foremost in every victory am allowed by all to be invaluable. Though I am invisible I am clearly seen in the midst of a river. I could name three who are in love with me and have three associates in vice. It is vain that you seek me for I have long been in heaven yet even now lie embalmed in the grave. What am I?”
Answer: _???_

Yep a willow was correct.
Something given in death is a will.
Something not high is low.
The “weeping” will-low is considered sorrowful.
Cattail is very close and a good guess, first part is correct.
A mouse catcher is a cat. (tail is incorrect)
A bough is a branch btw.
The first line contains two halves of the final answer, the last line a description.
“I have streets but no pavement.
I have cities but no buildings.
I have forests yet no trees.
I have rivers yet no water.”
What am I?
Really great riddle flint, is it a map?

To the beginning of every end
And the end of every place.”

This I think is the best riddle yet. Very good riddle. I had to resort to asking friends, but they didnt know either. I got it in about 25 minutes. It is a snake.
