> Winter Clash is a challenge meant for later-game players who have already unlocked the Secret Fight Club (SFC).
Sigh. A three day event for SFC players, just when I need an estimated five more days to reach SFC. Just my luck.
I only hope there won't be a special event for arena levels up to 15, directly afterwards...

I'd like to know this as well

I'd be shocked if it was anything but your active deck, just as in SFC.

You're going to feel foolish when you lose to heavenly hank. The better combos will be throwing around 40+ punches.

It's not like I really have a choice, I have bought into educated pretty heavy and burned up my research boosts to get them prepped for Rumble. I don't have the inputs or research accels to get those combos ready for a 3 day long challenge

At first glance this looked really interesting, with 12 different characters represented, but looking up the actual combos I see that most of the characters only have a few ways to make their combo, and most of the others use the same small pool of object cards over and over again. If you didn't happen to invest in the BGE that this event heavily draws from you are pretty much SOL.
I've spent hundreds of dollars on this game -- not a whale, but far from F2P, and this event simply misses all the strengths of my deck. Let's just say I'm not inspired to dig into my hoarded gems to participate. I'm not going to work hard to build a deck to take advantage of the 13 good combos with my Teddy card when I need to fill the deck with 8 or 9 other characters where I don't have much to combine them with.

You're not the target audience of this event. It is designed for those in SFC, but in reality it's only designed for those who are heavily invested in the game. Your average spender doesn't have the cards to make the combos and isn't putting together this mismash deck. Your best bet is to put together your best CM deck and go at it.

Played my first battles. That was fun. I want more. Also SWOLE

Fun times when the AI plays Peter first, you play a quad Peter, and the AI combos Gun Safety Peter to one shot you with 65+ attack when the punch is included.
Not having a sleep delay for this was stupid.

I’m getting a bug in this challenge: the displayed preview when I hover a card to make a combo shows massively higher stats than it has when I play it.

All my attacks were used without me ever attacking? Other players do not have this issue while some do. What is going on?

I wonder how people got 21000 points on start? I manage to score 4000

I'm SFC 2006 and got 5221 with my 2 wins and 1 loss. I'm waiting to do more later.

It's a huge joke... I won one battle. Then lost the rest terribly bad.

Could you pick crappier combos? Most these are made with blue cards and are very limited.

That is the fun of it. I think this was a very creative challenge.

Hi All,
Thanks for the bug reports. I've sent the two over to the devs to look into. If you run into other issues, please let us know and let me know what device and operating system you use to play.

Same here. That's very annoying and can make you lose. :l
Edit: Just saw Modchi's reply.

To be blunt, I'm not going to waste any more gems, Giggitywatts, or research speedups on creating a good deck for an event that is so badly composed.
I've got the makings for three quad Bobby, but it combos with one Leg I don't have and one Epic that I certainly don't have, since like most SFC players I had to pitch most or all of my Epic cards before the last expansion.
I've got three quad Peters I use heavily, but Peter only combos with one legendary card, and I've only got a fuse, not a quad.
I've got **nine** Mythic character cards, but only two of them combine with any of my Leg items.
It gets even worse when I look at the object cards by BGE. Two of them have no BGE at all, 10 Armed cards combine with 3 of the characters, 13 Fighter cards combine with a single Mythic, 4 Drunk cards combine only with Roger, and no other BGEs are represented at all.
**I was really looking forward to building a deck around a small group of buffed combos, but there are no viable synergies or chains to build off of.** I'm better off just dropping an extra Roger into my Drunk deck and hoping that I get lucky to draw him in critical battles before my opponent gets a lucky draw in theirs -- and that's not a fun meaningful battle experience. (Other people with a strong Armed deck can use that and hope for the best.)
Nice try, I appreciate seeing new content in the game, but I'm not going to invest heavily in a short term event that uses such a weird slice of the card diversity in the game. Let me know when SWOLE is back.
