Hello my favorite community!
A few of you have asked for a forum AMA (as opposed to Reddit), so here is your chance to ask our team some questions!
There is no theme to this AMA and you can ask the three of us any questions that come to your mind.
We will try to pop in at random times next Thursday (Jan 19th, 2017) from about 9am - 5pm PST and answer as many questions as possible, however, please keep in mind that we probably won't answer everything as we are all working very hard on upcoming features and things.
Ask away!

Ok. A question on everyone's mind then. I'll limit myself to 1 question. How exactly does scoring work in rumbles? We all see taking damage takes away from perfect 100 pt wins but what exactly is the equation

Are there any plans for a monthly deal? I feel like a system to that effect would be awesome

How come the AI doesn't combo in rumbles?
Why does the arena AI only play combos that I have researched, not those that my opponent has researched?
Will the vip system be retroactive?

Thanks for te opportunity, that's always highly appreaciated.
As someone who's been and is playing other Synapse games I have seen a huge difference in how you manage your games over the years. While Tyrant Unleashed still gets new content and despite a shrinking playerbase seems to be doing fairly okay, Global Assault is really a shame, with no new content for months, botguilds ruining events for everyone and barely any communication from the devs anymore. Players, even mostly devoted ones, are leaving en masse there, which is sad, because everyone agrees that the gamplay itself is fun.
Here it in AT I see similarities in how you start out your games and add p2p content (boxes, upgradetimes, etc). Though the fact that you make the premium ingamecurrancy available to f2p, even if it's just in small portions, is a huge and positive step imho.
So my questions are:
Is anyone from the other Synapse games involved in AT and if so, what have you learned from your other games, that you want to do better here?
Will there be any live pvp in AT? (seriously, I know you usually don't do that in your games, but even just a fun mode with random decks would be enough)
Keep up the activity and support and you might have a long running successful game :^)

Daily logins that get better the more you login, such as at 30 days you get 100 legendary gems, day 1 would be 500 coins, something like that.
Fix cheer, so it works both to the right and left. I and many others avoid using cheer because it only works to cards in front of or to the right.
Adjust some of the epics and legendaries to make them equivalent to others, balancing really. Don't downgrade anything just slightly upgrade or modify others to be as good as others. Example, bob, stan, peggy, leela, amy, louise are heavily used blue character cards. Others are skipped over because they have bad combos. Same can be said for some legendaries. Many card groups have skills that focus on their group, those card combos are barely used because they only benefit a few cards.

Hi the gun you could purchase at shops that gave you 20% attack power of your cards, why has it dissappeared
its no longer showing on arena or adventure as it did Above your deck. Something that ppl payed money to get should be reinbursed if its gone for good...

Will challenges ever be repeated? If not why do I need or have challenge coins for certain events that I was unable to spend, they have no purpose if not.
Will the arena event ever come back? The one where everyone battled each other in the arena for global rank and bender tokens.

I have a few questions and one suggestion:
Will we be seeing more cards and combos with two traits in the future?
Will the trait for the Rich Francine combo be changed to Rich sometime in the near future? It is frustrating that there are skills like special cheer and special motivate that only have an effect on cards with a certain trait while there are cards and combos that don't have a trait that they obviously should have. There is no reason why Rich Francine shouldn't be rich.
Why no legendary Hungover Steve? Is that intentional or a mistake? Are legendary cards purposefully made to be less versatile than their common counterpart, to make commons better than legendaries in one way at least? I have Klaus Heisler and he makes the same combos that the rare Klaus did, as far as I know. I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around the reason why Steve Smith doesn't also.
When new adventure islands are added to the game, will there also be new cards (commons through legendaries) added to the coin packs? Will new character cards get added when new islands are added to the game?
Will you ever add epic and legendary stones to challenge prize pools?
Will you ever change the mechanics for cheer and cheer all? I don't mind planning ahead and placing my cards in the proper order to utilize the cheer and cheer all skill. That's actually my favorite thing about it and would hate to see it altered to cheer on all cards on the field no matter where they are placed. Not many skills in this game require strategy, most work no matter how and where you place them. Take strategy out of a card game and it becomes boring fast in my opinion. I think the cheer skill should be altered so the attack boost lasts at least more than one turn kind of similar to craze. Cheer and cheer all is a big part of my deck so I can see how the skill will be over powered if the attack boost was permanent, but I think it would be fair if the attack boost lasted for at least two or three turns. It could encourage players who don't want to use the cheer skill, because it requires more strategy to use than the other skills that boost attack (Boost, Craze, and Motivate), to use it.

I would like to request the ability to play the game more. An Arena upgrade similar to the adventure upgrade were offered, I would buy that. Also, it would be cool to buy something that permanently decreases led the refill times, say from 10 minutes to 5 minutes for adventure or 90 minutes to an hour for arena.

With the introduction of VIP and Mythic cards, how are you going to prevent the most recent competative aspects of the game such as Rumble from becoming **even more** pay to win?
**All card games are pay to win.** This fact cannot be denied. In card games your deck matters a lot and it is not free. You cannot compete at the highest levels of hearthstone, magic, even gwyn without spending the needed money to enter the competative scene. That's fine.
But how are you going to keep it from getting ridiculously out of hand? How are you going to prevent the unbalance between free to play and pay to win players getting too far out of hand which will causes free players like myself to abandon your product.

Thank you for this opportunity: Can you add to rumble data offered the amount of points each player in a guild deducted from their opponent while on defense and how many times they were attacked since not all matches offer full participation? I would think this would be easy since you know what each player scores. I just want to see who is doing what damage to the opponent's score how many times. I can offer that this may increase box sales as people will be more likely to invest in defense if they can see the effects.
