Hello again community,
After internally reviewing the Rumble rewards we share some of the sentiments brought up here and in other external communities.
We are not happy with the way rewards are surfaced in the current Rumble. In future events we will better display the best rewards first. We also hope to better message that stones can be turned into random cards of their respective level - Epic stones turn into a random Epic card, Legendary stones turn into a random Legendary card, etc. The team is also reviewing how to make stones more clear and interesting as a reward.
We've added The Drunken Clam card as an available reward to the current Rumble, however, as we are reviewing the current reward structure, this may not be a permanent addition in future Rumbles.
We are planning to include more and more events in the game and some balancing is going to be required as we add more content and rewards to the game. Thank you for the ongoing feedback as the game continues to grow.

I 100% commend your recognition of the problem, and implementation of a somewhat reasonable fix until a proper solution can be implemented. While an epic may not necessarily be sufficient, people know about stones, it's the lack of cards that upsets them because you've removed rewards, the stones are the same from previous events. I'm elated because this is 100% a better response to problems than what you've previously done. Keep this kind of thing up, you're moving in the right direction. Good job!

Stones would be a more interesting option if: - When you collect 1000 stones, instead of getting a random card from a pool of all cards, you get a window, asking you to choose one of "packs", (for example each pack could have a pool of drunk cards, or fighter cards and so on). So you could see which cards can you get from a pack and also gives u ability to choose which pack you would like to get. So it's still random, but a bit more streamlined

Love this idea but packs should be for the 5 shows

Stones may be appreciated more as a reward if the cards you get weren't easily obtainable(farmable). Also, the stones awarded now are same as last rumble. The only difference is you replaced dual fused legendary and dual fused epic with 1 rare pack, unless you can pull 2 epic, 2 legend and 200gw from a single rare pack then the rewards are a huge disappointment.

Drunken Clam is a good card, even if it is an Epic. I also like that you're offering it fused if we can make it to tier 6-- that's even better than a Legendary!!!!

Echo the sentiments that good there is a reaction and doing something to address it is a positive. I want to make sure the nature of the disapointment with the initial set of rewards. For those of us who are at the top percentalie of players we need to have fully fused cards or they aren't worth putting into a deck. I have the legendary and epic from the last rumble and they aren't in my deck, partly because they are weaker than the cards that I can get by farming then fully fuse and level up. Even pulling a card or two from a box is not sufficent. That means I either have to buy out a box (which is super expensive) or live on what I can farm. The rewards in the events are the one other place I may be able to get content that can improve and diversify my deck. When there are only stones that can wind up with a random card and given how hard it is to place in the top tiers in events if really feels like "why should I continue to play." Placing in the top of these events should be rewarded, because it is hard. It also adds to the fun of it knowing I might get something new that I can build on top of. When the rewards are just stones and the result of stones are hit or miss it really takes some of the fun out of it.
Overall, it is a content problem. The problem is not that you don't have a diversity of content, but the diversity is limited to those who pay a lot. I understand that is part of the buisness model, but it is also the reason SFC is filled with Thinker Ape or Paddling Peggy Decks (look at the metrics of the deck make-ups especially in the 300-800 range, there isn't a lot of diversity there). There aren't just enough other paths to go with decks and removing a main avenue for new content for people makes it feel as if you are taking away one of the places they get some diversity.
So I applaude the ideas above of something like stones let you pull from a box of content of a type or other things that doesn't mean go pick the card you want, but gives players chances to shape their deck differently.
Please really think about how to get more diversity of play into the game for everyone, not just the top spenders.

Really appreciate that you've added the clam. And I also really appreciate that the new combos have been added to various alcohol cards. I'm quite excited about breathing new life into old favourites. I also like how the new combos can counter paddling Peggy and similar combos (at least with the bonus)
Whilst you are discussing the alure of the stones, may I suggest (with the epic stones at least) that farmable cards are removed from the shard prize pool. You get all excited, only to receive a Francine that instantly gets recycled.
Most people who have got to the point where they are earning these shards have probably already farmed all the farmable epic cards several times over already.

Really? Dual Fused Epic for the Winner of the rumble? At least a single legendary card or quad fused epic might be better.
6 days long event and the reward is dual fused epic? Come on..

The drunken clam is a very rare epic... I've been playing since the beginning and I've only had one come across my deck ever... it's a strong drunk card that makes good combos, especially drunk peggy

I recently got it from epic stones. Just started using it. It's ok. But as a single card it's just so so. Has some good combos with Peter, Stan, and Roger.

Would be nice if there was a way of seeing the pool of rewards even on Basic packs, I wanna be able to the see the % of drops on every card available currently on game, I hate the fact that there's hidden epics that we can't see in game like drunken clam and others.

Drunken Clam as a reward? Noice, I already have once-fused maxed drunken clam card.
This will make easier for me to get the 4th one if I get somehow from the epic stones.

I would love it if you could stick with a pre-combo card as a reward for events and rumbles.
that is the only way for us F2P users to get one and therefore much more worth than epic stones.

Thanks for adding The Drunken Clam to the rewards. It's something and something is better than nothing. Seeing the amount of rumble rewards decrease, even after adding The Drunken Clam, concerns me greatly. The rewards given out in the prior rumbles were good. I would be incredibly disappointed to see legendary cards taken out of the rumble prize list permanently. We all know how epic and legendary stones work so there is no need to tell us again. In the past there was also a legendary card included with the stones; therefore, the stones don't replace the card. Please bring it back. Two good ways to make the stones more interesting would be adding precombos to the list of craftable epics and/or allowing people to choose either the trait of the epic or the television series that the card belongs to. Random isn't interesing; it's frustrating. Rumbles are the only reason I'm still playing this game. If the rewards for this rumble are reflecting what future rumble rewards will be like, then that makes me one step closer to uninstalling.

Frankly I don't care for an additional random epic even though it's pre-combo. Why? Because it's too weak. It would never make to my deck.
