Good morning Throwdowner's!

# Rumble Schedule Change
Recently we changed Rumbles to occur starting every 2 weeks. Due to the new Guild Siege event and player feedback we are updating the Rumble schedule.
The next Rumble will start on 7/13 and will START every 3 weeks - so the following Rumble will start on 8/3.
# Event Reward Updates
We have been reviewing the event rewards and plan to make updates to ALL event rewards (Challenges, Brawls, Rumbles). The focus of the update is to increase the amount of rewards in every tier (especially lower tiers), and provide each event with its own unique set of rewards. This update will occur within the next couple of weeks, and we will send out a Mailbox reminder in game the day before the update to avoid confusion. The update will not affect any events in progress, and it will be released in several weeks near the release of Guild Sieges.

All of this sounds very nice, but I'm confused about the schedule.

Cool. More time between rumbles will be welcomed.
Does this also change when the next BGE will arrive? Artistic will end on 7/20 but next Rumble won't start until 8/3?

Sometimes I just don't feel like tryharding all the events, better rewards gives me some incentive to place at a level of mediocrity. Welcome news

"The next Rumble will start on 7/13 and will START every 3 weeks - so the following Rumble will start on 8/3." So the next rumble will be on July 13th and the Artistic BGE will end on July 20th...The following rumble will be on August 3rd and presumably will have another BGE
On another note...thank you Devs this will make things easier on us :)

Thank you for the positive changes. I am glad to know that the mods/devs are willing to listen to and consider suggestions. I apologize that this is more critical feedback than praise, but I was directed to post here so that it would be seen for mods/devs to review.
I wish to bring up the negativity surrounding Golden Turd rewards that has been prevalent in the forum and among players. The excitement over this new currency was quickly lost after realizing the length of time required to earn 1000 turds when adventure level drop rates were set at only 3-8 turds for each bout. With that in mind, players still held steadfast and patiently worked and saved for their “due” reward. However, with the inclusion of previously farmable cards, that reward was severely tarnished. Golden Turds became known more as REAL turds, an apt name for a crappy reward, as many players were left with the low end value of those reward cards.
The emotional impact of receiving a crappy card created a player’s sense of disappointment and feeling cheated. 3-4 weeks of dedicated, daily play resulted in a card that was earned EASILY in playing lower levels of adventure. And then with the inclusion of low strength “dud” cards such as pimparoo, protective suits, dress rehearsal, you inadvertently heightened players’ sensitivity to receiving crap rewards, so even more players have become disgruntled over ALL of the box offerings, but especially Golden Turds. 450 gems earned to get a gem box with a dud card does not take as long as 1000 turds, so the dissatisfaction level is less compared to GTs.
And even with the new guild sieges providing GTs as rewards, consider that not every player is a member of a guild with that extra capacity to earn turds. (When I was a new player I was very hesitant to join a guild in fear of the expectations and commitment required as a guild member. So not everyone will join a guild. Please don’t forget about that population who will still take 4 weeks to save 1000GTs.)
With increasing numbers of unhappy, jilted players, the attitude towards this game is changing for the negative… players are annoyed, more cynical, and they blame the devs who are perceived as greedy money makers with no regard for the players. And lack of joy in playing this game leads to burnout = higher rate of attrition of players. They leave the game, they don’t spread the word about this great game, or worse (for you) they badmouth the game/devs. You also end up with more dead guilds (that still get stuck playing in rumbles and that’s a whole other frustrating problem).
**_Personally, I like the idea that GT reward is somewhat hard and lengthy to obtain._ But if the 1000GT bar continues to be set that high, then the reward should be fitting of the time and effort required to obtain. **
I have written so many times in various posts, I want to include the following (edited) 4 excerpts from my recent posts:
1) Rumble rewards:
I was EXCITED to see a legendary card reward for this rumble... Then 1 minute later, my excitement turned to disgust after the wtf realization that it goes only to top 10. Great, so the whales get a legendary prize that they don't even NEED or probably WANT like the rest of us low lifes.
It seems that there are enough different legendary cards available that rewarding the top 100, or 200, or even 500 guilds with a legendary would make so many people happy. One legendary card each rumble for maybe 12,000 players (if you choose top 250). For some of us, that might be the only legendary we get that entire month. Don’t you have like over 1million registered players? It surely wouldn't break the game! Wouldn't it be nice to have HAPPY, RELATIVELY SATISFIED PLAYERS?!
Acknowledging the rumble’s token epic card reward, which we all know is more accessible to win from challenge play, SFC rewards, and regular card pulls such that epics do not have much of a draw. And in the big picture, they eventually are not strong enough to last.... So meh. They are giggitywatts. And 4 days of rumble play to get cards equivalent to giggitywatts, partial rewards (collection of stones) and 50 nixons per individual bout is not a great use of time if one is playing to get rewards.
2) Golden Turd rewards:
The devs have a choice in which cards to pick as a reward. ALL THEY HAVE TO DO IS MAKE THE CARDS CHOSEN DESIRABLE, NOT DESPICABLE.
3) Bottom line:
HAPPY PLAYERS WILL KEEP PLAYING. SOME WILL EVEN SPEND MORE $ TO ADVANCE.
UNHAPPY PLAYERS WILL EVENTUALLY LEAVE. OR WILL JUST CONTINUE TO GRIPE. That's not good for overall morale of players, within guilds, on the forum, nor word of mouth.
I still have a twinge of hope and naivete that a FUN GAME SHOULD STAY FUN. And, that the devs would actually, maybe WANT to keep players HAPPY. I know that I would spend more than the $9.99 I've spent in total, if I knew purchased turds / gems would actually result in some unique or valued cards. But with the current system, I would be setting myself up for disappointment and then regret… that I threw my hard earned cash down the toilet. So right now, I just won’t do it.
4) So I hope that this issue gets noticed. I hope the devs will reconsider their current course of how the game rewards are set up. Offer a cookie... without a substitute "booby prize." (Think Pavlov's dogs... but WE still have a mind and pocketbook so it can't be too disparaging, and the actual reward should be of VALUE. The dogs did not get programmed to salivate over the reward of a cracker or handful of dirt.)
....
Please do not misunderstand me with this presentation of criticism. It is based on many posts and observations within the forums. I really LOVE this game and I want to continue to play this game. I love the TV shows associated with the game and realize the great potential that AT has.
Thank you for listening to and considering my opinions. I would be happy to discuss directly by PM if called upon. Or certainly you can review my pertinent posts as recorded in my profile.

I whole heartedly agree. It hurts pretty bad using 1000 GTs and ending up with my 30th Vitruvian Man. The visceral, negative reaction to pulling a card that is "Just 25 giggitywatts" from a pack you spent 2-4 weeks earning is not optimal for anybody.
Cutting the GT cost for a pack down (to say, 100-250 GTs) would be an alternative way to soften the blow of pulling a "farmable" epic from a Golden Pack.
