More or less it been pure all the way with yellow and limes. I just wanted to make sure i was not missing a helper, lol.

Triple gem: 1.22(damage) * 1.22(attack speed) * 0.8(special) = 1.19 By 19% better than pure yellow.
((G1 purple+ G1 Orange) + G2 Yellow) + G3 Yellow)…

Hmmm…
I typically use lime-yellow(-orange until it gets pushed out, if I’m playing with Triple, recently switched to Dual for a test; getting around 800 mana at the start due to not unlocking additional color).
I also basically ALWAYS use the 1T+8A system, this raises KILLERS. :DDD
My SINGLE gem can handle waves up to around wave 90-100, and I still get the “don’t allow” amulet.
Sure, I’d have to force=end the game to get it, but it still gives me huge EXPs compared to those before I learned how to TRULY summon monsters. :DDD

Gremlion, I was wondering about it in the amplifier.
Right now I do use a triple gem in my towers, Yellow, lime, and not sure, lol. Sometimes red sometimes orange.

For some reason, I can’t beat full setting endurances even though I’m level ~2010. Can someone please give me some pointers?

I’m doing something wrong AND I DON’T KNOW WHAT!!!
I’m going for the amulet in which you have 2 gems throughout the battle while spending 5,000 manna on gems and never upgrading [pressing U].

I was daunted by this one so kept putting it off. As a result, I have an ENORMOUS amount of manna to begin. so I’m able to create a level 7 and a level 5 gem. so, right off the bat, I’ve spent over 6,000 manna. I’ve never even needed to level up [though I’ve tried doing that (destroying the gem and creating a new, more powerful one)] to see if that would help [it didn’t]

I’ve only used pure gems as I’m not sure if combining counts as ‘upgrading’ or not.
And I’ve won the battle handily. Several times. And I’m still registered as not having completed the amulet.
So – - what am I doing wrong, please?

Thanks in advance.

figured it out!
I was reading around on the forum and saw where someone was speculating about whether or not having the wild gem skill throws a monkey wrench into the works. so I tried getting rid of that – - in fact, getting rid of almost ALL skills and pumping up my manna.

played it again and – - – SUCCESS!
why starting out with a gem if you get rid of it before creating another one makes it impossible to win the amulet makes no sense, at all, to me but – - – there you are.

it’s counted as a gem itself, so it’s most likely you will have to play with that ONE gem worth 5000 or more mana. I guess it should be enough to make a grade 8 with mana from sacrificing the wild gem, and just let it wreck everything in G13 normal.

no, vesperbot – - that’s the point you can’t sacrifice the gem and make another. for some unfathomable reason, it doesn’t count as a win for the amulet. you have to start without the wild gem. maybe you can start with it and then simply play with the wild + one other gem throughout the battle. I haven’t tried that. but, for sure, you can’t sacrifice the gem then build 2 more.

as I said, it makes no sense but that’s how it works.

hmmmmm. I see people here talking about ‘beating’ the endurance level. what’s that about? I thought the point of endurance was that you play till you die.

of course, those same people are talking about level 800. EIGHT HUNDRED! I’m in infant in swaddling clothes at level 143.
so – – is actually BEATING endurance possible? and, if so, when is the time to try for it?

Endurance isn’t endless. It’s ‘only’ 1337 waves.
You get more xp when choosing higher battle settings/difficulties.
A basic-like endurance can be beaten around lvl100 if someone knows the right strategy (summon + LO in trap + LY in tower), but to beat the hardest settings endurance (in the G7 zone) can need lvl 1500 even for experienced players.

I won my first endurance at level 60 or so, with easiest settings. So it’s beatable, you need to get the right strategy and lots patience in high level gem crafting. Choose a single-entrance cell for easier play.

My strategy: Red for wave 1-20. Red/Yellow/Orange for wave 20-60. Yellow/Lime/Orange for the rest.

Depends whether you just wanna beat the WAVES or get a nice HIGHSCORE.
The first is a piece of cake, for high levels it’s simply “funny”.
The last is mainly the problem of not falling asleep – my nerves don’t let me anger monsters more than till wave 60 or so, then I just ctrl-click and I’m finishing by wave 100 or so (where I can’t beat them anymore), if I want the last amulet.

ok. when putting L/O gems in traps [something I never would’ve thought of, on my own, in a million years] what’s the best L:O ratio, please? just a tiny bit of L to boost the multi-hit option or 50:50 or what?
thx.

start with 50/50, when you notice noticeably FPS drop, add pure orange only.
On good computer it is 3k chain hit, on some laptops 200.

Am I the only one, that plays the single-gem strategy, without any traps?
Or am I losing opportunities by this?
I am steadily growing up, especially after implementing the pylon trick.

You can’t beat all settings without LO trap.
And there is no point in playing other settings.
Maxed pylons – go for max settings endurance.

I tend to disagree.
Did you try?
In my case, the problem is that I get too bored very soon, so I force-end it.
But I could very well keep angering monsters every wave, so I can keep them at bay.
Btw, which wave is the first to have max hps?
As in, if you can beat that wave, just upgrade another level – and go afk until it’s over. :D
Unfortunately, this won’t be SO soon, I guess.
But I might try a full endurance on some easy level, to check this.
I’ll tell you the results, IF I do it. DDD

Beat it, then disagree. Final setup need ~200 billions of mana.

I already AGREE. :DDD
I’m still in the middle of the same endurance on H11 (chose an easy level, both monster and maintenance wise), on wave 130…
So, what are their max normal hps?
As of now, I must highly resort to shrines to reduce monster hps…
Oh, and yeah, I HAD to use mana traps – and they are truly WONDROUS: I’m at x16 multiplier already, and they grow every 3-5 seconds or so, if I don’t use mana.
So, you’re right…
Anyways, I hope to actually finish it.
I shall post a screenshot in that case. :DDDDD

Max normal HP is 3.3e9, max WGTF HP is 1.0e13. Don’t spend time growing mana pool just yet, use mana to grow trap gem, and watch your mana exponentially skyrocket. Later you will be able to build a G30 Y/L(/P or /O, squished, L at x2-x3 only, rest Y) to oneshot all them WGTF monsters with ease. Then just switch gem to random, minimize the game and have a coffee :)

The problem here is exactly to build it up to G30…
I have now my main at G24, and I almost fell asleep while building it, even though I didn’t have to wait for mana – my farm was producing at light speed…
And to build it up to G30…
Hint: My max mana-buildable gem is G17 now, maybe G18 soon, so it would take me FOREVER to stack it to G30…
It takes 2^d gems to raise levels, where d=Gy-Gx…
So, with d=30-18=12… I’d need “only” some 4k gems…
Oh man…

Ahem…
I’m now at G27 with G22 amps, it does max approx 1.4Kx1.4M=2B dmg, while the monsters have 1.000B hps…
Nothing even close to “one-hitting”…
I also built a few slowers and shockers, to keep then sitting in one place, mostly on my mana farm, which increases my pool at around 1-3 cycles per second. :DDD
Still, it’s too low mana pool that makes the game boring – even with 120M in it, I won’t start up with G30 as of now.
And I doubt it will have THAT much of an effect…
Currently, I’m being highly helped by the lightning shrines, which reduce monsters to around 10% hp – very handy.
And it’s really stupid – I gain overloads of mana, but I’m not much using it, cause the buildable gems are too low level to be useful…
Well, I am progressing step by step, but it’s AWFUL
I think, I’ll need to at least double my mana pool skill, so that it makes any sense to try an endurance at x75…
I can easily win it – but I’ll go nuts before I actually do it…

Update.
I found the perfect strategy for NOW:
Speed up a dozen waves, until it starts lagging (200+ monsters right now); pummel them with the shrines, makes them like 10 times smaller; reap the hunt. :DDD
Actually, my current gem is capable of holding them off already, but it’s too slow and ineffective.
The above strategy is much better – it makes the game faster AND increases the killing speed. :DDD
I’ll update in the next post, when I’ll be able to actually deal with UN-shrined monsters, will take some time though…
(I post separately on purpose – so you can see my progress in TIME.)
