I see people posting guides for those who are at ridiculous levels, I’m but a mere level 123 at the moment, anyone find anything that works for them at this level?

1. Finish all the levels (well, the necessary ones, at least) if you haven’t yet.
2. You’ll probably already be able to do the pylon summon trick at maxed settings – gives good exp, should shoot you to level 400+ after you do it on all 5 fields.
3. a) If you’ve got premium, start endurance runs. If you want to, start with lower settings, and gradually work your way up to full difficulty settings. Or just jump directly to it :P
3. b) If you don’t have premium and still want to level up further, go back to do levels with full settings and major summoning; all battle amulets and a good summoning multiplier should get around a 60x multiplier.

I’m also around your level. Currently just past the 4th pylon.
I max all settings, mana pool until I am drained, then sell the wild gem, unlock and create a level 5-6 YL gem and a few amps with lvl 1 Y or L gem. Then mana pool again until empty. as the waves roll in, build more amps + lvl1 gems. at this point more amps > higher gems in amp. Get to 8 amps and start upgrading the amps to YL and keep upgrading the main gem and mana pool. Since I’m not that good, I only start summoning later. If you have mana left towards the end, build the shrines and towers to get the battle medals.

Even without summoning, that should get you pretty decent multiplier.

I’ve beaten the game, and I have Premium. What’s this pylon trick? I saw the forum post but the way they describe it is a little confusing.

Can’t edit? lol wow.

So you don’t use Orange or red at all? just Yellow and Lime gems, and one tower (build another 9 later for amulets, im well aware of)

go on a pylon field and charge the pylon until its ALMOST done charging YOU WILL NEED AT LEAST 1607 KILLS.

sell all of your gems except one, that will shoot at the pylon.
summon ONE LESS than you killed.(use grade 1 and 3 gems)
MAX 50.00 SUMMON MULTIPLIER!!!!!

you can edit(try looking for it next time, i edited mine just now), red is useless, orange is useful, USE IT! and yes, 1 tower 8 amps is best (and 9 more once you get mana farm)

I’ll have 1 mana farm gem rockin ridiculous gains, and use LYR trap w/ 6 amps aaaand that’s all i’ll use, plus a tower+8 amps for another longer reach mana farm.

EDIT: found the edit :P sorry first post

What do u mean summon one less than i did?

apparently that summon one less is huge, cuz i ended with only 15k exp on first level, kinda bogus. i can do 50k exp on endurance in about almost as much time.

1. Start as well as possible. If you can start with a grade 7, that’s pretty nice. Grade 6 will do, but a lot slower.
2. Maxed settings if you can handle that. 4th pylon has shards, that’ll help on the startup (in return, you get that shadow later on). Use armor only if non-premium, giant-only otherwise.
3. Go for all battle amulets. Might take some time.
4. When done with that, you probably have a good gem, at least g12. Higher is nice if you have the shadow to kill.
5. Now pause and check your stats. Start summoning until your kills are 1 higher than your summons. So if your kills are 2,187, get 2,186 summons. Make sure you have enough mana when you start doing this!
6. Put all your gems in range of the pylon and set them to ‘structures’. They should charge the pylon and not kill any enemy. Once the pylon is charged, all enemies on the field disappear and all waves stop.
7. If you did the 4th pylon, kill the shadow and its summons.

You should have 1600+ kills anyway since you got the 2000 kills amulet. Now, the trick is that the game calculated your summon multiplier by comparing yor summons to your kills. It doesn’t expect you to ‘remove’ the summoned monsters from the game with the pylon charging. So logically, 1 more summon than kills means you only had 1 monster to start with and summoned another few thousand to kill, which would be pretty good, and you get a 50x multiplier as reward. That’s the basic trick. When done right you get the max settings, the max amulets, and a 50x modifier for your summon, That’s over 1100x modifier combined, for a nice amount of xp.

Note: if you summon more than you kill, the game senses you’re cheating (obviously since that’d be impossible :P). So it’ll set your summon modifier to 1. Make sure to stay under that, and as close as possible; 1 being ideal.

Orange can be good in a trap, usually combined with lime. However, it only gets really good at higher levels. I tend to start it around lvl 12; before that you can get a lot more mana from kills I think (might be off a few levels). Wasting mana on a manatrap which could have gone into your tower (thus more damage, thus more summons) can be a bad thing; balance it out. Above lvl 12 or so the manatrap seems to get the majority of mana income, and around lvl 21 it gets insane, filling your mana bar every second – this will require endurance or extreme amounts of summoning to do, however. Generally on low levels with little summoning I find manatraps not very worthwile, but use it as you see fit. I prefer having seperate kill and mana farms, since killing your mana targets would stop your managain. Better to have your killgem kill it all after they passed the farm. Just be careful not to lag yourself to oblivion ;). Hope this helps.

good, I got 29k on 1st pylon, and only 23.5k on 2nd pylon(i don’t have premium), YOU NEED TO DO IT ON A PYLON FIELD

also, Tenshi_Samshel you can get 1 less always by using 0-3 grade 3 gems and the rest grade 1 gems

figured it out, 338k on first pylon. here we go.
3 million exp on 2nd pylon, this trick is legit.

Update, P1 4.5M, P2 8M, P3 9.7M, P4 4k…, P5 1.9M

easy stuff now.

@calvindang, you actually need at least 1606 monsters killed, not 1607. I know this because I did all 5 pylons with 1606 monsters killed and 1605 monsters summoned, and I got a x50 summon multiplier on all of them.
