For some reason, there were 145 monsters to go, and I killed well over 145 monsters in one battle, all with gem bombs, and it said I didn’t kill 1000 monsters for some reason, as if swarm monsters (I had swarms only on.) only counted as half a monster for some odd reason.

It’s not a glitch. You didn’t kill 1000.
