So I needs an AS3 programmer.

Hai guys,
Im working on this game called “Protect your Nuts”. Its a side shooting game about a squirrel.

I need:
basic WASD movement to move left, right, and jump
mouse shooting
enemy AI
boss Battles
and
a save/ load system

I was thinking about doing it myself, but I’m not good at AS3. Hell, I only work in AS2.

Why not use AS2 then?

Um, all of the stuff you mentioned in the first post is possible in as2. The save/load system might be a little difficult, but definitely possible.
Just trying to help make sure no-one rips you off by making you pay them for doing something you can do yourself. :)

It’s possible to build houses out of straw as well but people don’t do it like that any more. Your first post is a little unappealing sir. Your Popeye-esque title and stong attitude towards AS2 impress me, but I’m wondering what you will offer? What’s to stop me taking this idea and making it own my own, reaping all the benefits for myself?

If you think AS2 is outdated, just learn AS3. Once you know one programming language, others are much easier to learn. If you don’t care about AS2 being outdated, no one who will play the game will know the difference anyway.

Yeah, I could live with being a douche bag if it meant I didn’t have to split any money earnt with you.

I’m not really in it for the money, so if you run flash ads you get 100% of the cash.
