Looking for a Team!

Hey, I’m starting a new game project, an RPG by the way, And I’m not good at animating or much other stuff and I need a team so we can work on a game thats worth playing not one of those 3 minute games. I am still learning AS so I am not the greatest scripter.

If you plan on being a Planner do NOT give me simple ideas I want Highly detailed ideas.

For being an Animator you need to know the basics of animating.

If you plan on making graphics make sure they are the best you can make them, I would appreciate it.

I could be a writer.

Do you have a design doc? A working version? All we know so far is (a) you say you’re not a great programmer (b) it’s an RPG.

What might a writer do? (Im new to the forums)

I am interested in creating Flash games. I think it would be a fun project but I have to make sure it is a good one. I could probably fill all of the above roles, honestly. Or at least help in each. I am an artist and musician and am usually swelling with new ideas that can be used. I’m also a pretty good writer, myself. I won’t claim to be the best of flash artists, something about drawing on a computer screen is extremely different than on paper but I could suffice. Let me know a little more info if you have it. If not, I got an interesting idea I can propose.

Im good at AS3 and have been programming for 10 years. I can be a sort of consultant and idea guy. I wouldn’t rely on me as THE idea guy because I am currently in development of a big multiplayer game project, but i’d definatly love to help, im looking to start gaining friends within the flash development community and this might be a good place to start :) Let me know.

i believe i could be a graphic designer….i prefer to use paint.net.my laptop is kinda slow, but im saving up money for a new one,and it might be awhile becuase im not old enough to get a job(im 14)

sargentGuy, Have you ever played StickRPG? Well thats kinda what it is going to be, except in our way of course. You will have a chance to explore cities and maybe put some random places in too.

Planner/Ideas
I can do just about anything in that area. i can go in to as much detail as you want, I can churn out Idea after Idea, and I’m a great planner.

This could start out with a animation, you wake up from bed, sweating & panting. It comes up with a sad story typed out on a semi-transparent black square, on top of the real game. It could say something about the parents dieing when he was 8 from the head of a gang. The entire game could be in black & wight. Off you go on the Quest to revenge your parents!

Or I could start out simply with you on the street. Riots breaking out, fire, gun shot, that kind of stuff. Your goal, survive this cahos and become the top in this state of nature! (this would be a cool multi-payer game)
(right now I have no Information realy & don’t know which way to go so can’t go into any detail…)

Cool Ideas: caves, every biulding enterable, fighting in the streets, weapons like staperlers, cars on the streets that can run you over or get in wrecks, exc.

i have other things to do but i had a good map.
use my ideas if you want but i can’t help right now
