i am good at coming up with ideas but cannot make my own game. if you need a writer or something i could help. i dont know how to make a game at all. TOTALLY NEED HELP!!!

Welcome to “wanting to be an indie game designer”. I’ve felt this way since SimCity came out.

Everyone wants to be that idea guy and have the programmers and artists build the project for him. You may be young blood with fresh ideas, but you need concrete skill in the field first. Get your hands dirty. Learn a language and absorb some software savvy. Actionscript is a great beginner’s language. Java or AS 2.0 if you’re up for Object-Oriented Programming.

Ehh AS2? If you are new, you should learn AS3 instead. Its a bit harder to learn, but better to work with and faster.
