Website help

Hello my website is flashbeastgames.webs.com. I was wondering if there’s any website builder like webs that will get me many visitors and members. I have only myself as a member. I’d like atleast 100 members that are constantly coming back. I really don’t think there’s any way to get a free domain , Is there?I’ve tried different web builders like webs , weebly , etc but no one ever subscribes. So I’d like to hear some tips to make a good website that people would love. I don’t know any c++ or java or HTML or whatever is used to code websites . If your one of them people that have nothing to say but stuff that’s negative , don’t post please :) if I can get a good website up , I’d also look forward for some trusted members with the pass to edit the site :)

Majority of all sites you must pay for. The ones that aren’t you either have to have banner ads on it or other restrictions.

For building a website, there are several, but don’t remember on the top of my head. weebly was one of the best ones that I can remember but i’ve seen you already found that.

Yes thank you but i have one more question. Would kong use one of my ads to my website if i sent the swf and i could pay them by them subtracting off my revenue? Such as 10 cents a day or something? I only have 1.70 revenue but could i?

10 cents a day for a total of $1.70 doesn’t sound like enough for very effective advertising. Try posting a link on facebook, especially if you have a lot of friends.

oh i use AS2 too and i was wondering if you could teach me how to make a launch game like your stavi launching game :D

kongregate gets paid alot for putting up ads its how they pay for sponsorships and prizes in turn.. hey if you hav dreamweaver couldnt you upload your site directly?

DreamWeaver? I dont know or have that but it makes websites? Does it cost money?

It costs money to register a domain, but many sites offer that ability to you for a pretty low fee. For example, Wordpress is just $5 or so.

Ok i guess i know what my first paycheck from the revenue will be :D But you need 25$ Before they’ll send you a check right? Well that will be awhile lol.

If your looking to make money off the site through ads, I believe you may have to upgrade other sections or host elsewhere(use like GoDaddy or 1&1) if you are using Wordpress.

godaddy is really cheap like 8-9 bucks a year

No, it is a service that hosts your domain for a fee.

Oh ok ill look into that. OK, i will just continue using webs.com. My website is www.flashBeastGames.webs.com. My question now is : Suggestions and ways to get as many members as i possibly can. I need suggestions on things i should add , things that are missing. I really want many active members as in members that are constantly getting on the site. My goal is atleast 100. I dont think webs.com websites get checked out too often but id like for mine to be a rebel to that statement :D. What are some ways i can get many members to join? BTW thanks guys!

webs is a terrible hosting site imho..hard to find, and hard to get to. It has a fairly unprofessional look too.. In fact I haven’t heard of a single popular website made with webs.com..sorry :P but it would be good if you can make it look more professional. TBH it looks a terrible site, fix up typos and make it look like it isn’t just a navigating menu..and yeah, 10 cents a day for a total of 1.70 isn’t exactly good value. Once you fix it all up you can have an okay site, but you really should get a scripter to make a website for you or learn html, ajax, php, javascript, css (whatever you want to use) yourself.

You’ll never get a 100 members with that site. First of you must learn html and css, or get someone to design the site. If you don’t want to learn css or html get dreamweaver it is the best WYSIWYG software for lazy people like me :)

If your willing to share add revenue, and pay for the server, I’ll hand code you a Flash,CSS, or HTML website.

Zlix13 could you get the domain free too? I’m only 14 and I really don’t know we’d share ad revenue , how old do u need to be to get a paypal? Is that how we’d share money ? And I’d have to pay for the server? Well I don’t have any money and well , that’s why I make flash games.
