Hello all and thank you for taking the time to read this post. I am looking for a programmer for a platformer game. Of course, this or a similar request is put up once a weak (at least), however, I have spent some time trying to be more prepared than my predessesors. I have full level designs (5 acts of 2 maps), a story, which I shall partially reveal later in this post, a forum that is ready to be activated, concept art for 4 of the in game characters, and I am currently working on the script and artistic descriptions (I plan for there to be short cinematics that use still images).
The story of this platformer comes from one of the many versions of the “404” poem based on “The Raven”. Basically, a doctor attempts to view his favorite porn site and is stopped by the 404 error. Refusing to be beat, he sends a nanobot into the internet (the technology for this is discovered in the game’s timeline) because he thinks that its not his internet that’s screwed up, its the server.
Once again, I am looking for a programmer in hopes of pulling this game a float. I would be thrilled if an artist also took interest, but will in no way be surprised if they do not. If you are a programmer with time, or even a programmer with a partially made platformer who lacks ideas, I humbly ask for your assistance in making my vision a reality.
