So I was working on stencyl as I’ve just recently downloaded it and I was following the crash coarse 2 tutorial on their website [http://www.stencyl.com/help/view/crash-course-invaders-1/](http://www.stencyl.com/help/view/crash-course-invaders-1/) this
I went all the way through the tutorial and found that it wasn’t working properly once i tested it. I checked for any inconsistencies between my product and the example in the tutorial but I couldn’t find any.
The issue is that while testing the game, whenever I try to fire the bullets at the enemies the bullets don’t travel and they push my ship backwards off the screen.
The other issue I had was that when I set the collision with the edges of the games screen with my ship it will collide with the right side of the screen and stay on it but it will go off forever to the left side.
I don’t know how to fix this but if anyone can help me please do.
It’s hard to answer without seeing your code blocks. Can you post some screen shots of your “Updated” block (the one that’s supposed to keep the player from scrolling off the screen) and your “Keyboard” block?
Regarding your problem with the bullets and player ship, my guess is that instead of saying “push [Last Created Actor] [sharply] toward…”, what you probably have is “push [Self] [sharply] toward…” That would explain why the bullets won’t move but the ship does.
ok here are the screenys
This should fix the problem with the player ship scrolling off screen: Change “Last Created Actor” to “Self” as shown below.
To make the bullets move, edit the Physics of the Bullet actor type and set “What Kind of Actor Type?” to “Normal.” There seems to be a typo in the tutorial, which may have caused your problem with the bullets.

Actually, there’s nothing wrong with the code. It should still work as long as the Physics of the bullet is properly set.
