Got an ally that just keeps sending you annoying messages or just looks at you the wrong way? You can now remove allies if you so choose by going to the Allies screen, clicking on their name to view their details then click the “remove” link below their pic.

We just rolled out our latest feature: Treasure Chests! The best way to get a bunch of stuff. Each one comes with gold, gear and either a potion or a scroll. Available in Hygarth (check the map). The Ice Priestess Chests also have 2 new items: Cowl of the Shifting Winds and Talons of the Crow.

Raid Help is here! Based on the questions that a lot of players have had in the last week, I’ve added a help pop-up to the raid boss screen. Just click the ‘?’ in the bottom right corner. I’ve also updated the damage info to include how many of your allies are actually helping you out (hint: you need 1 weapon in your inventory per ally for them to help in raid attacks).

A few updates today:

- Color coded battle text. Red for crits, white for misses, green for heals. Makes it a little easier to follow the pvp action.
- New header drop downs for Your Raids and Arenas. Easier access to the things you want to do and reduced confusion from the old links.
- Revised some of the messaging in raids having to do with retiring and joining.
- Revised some of the battle calculations. Crits are a bit stronger now in addition to some other refinements.

Instant damage scrolls (1,000 Blades and Fire Ball) are no longer counted towards the 3 active scrolls on a raid boss.

The Profile screen now has item stat info when you mouseover the items! The stat info will last 10 seconds then fade away so you can compare multiple items if you need to. Enjoy!

Now you can send a link to your raid to allies and others. On the boss screen, there is a now a blue “Summon” button that will show you the unique link to that particular boss. This feature also allows you to share your raids without making them public (for everyone). Please note that once someone has the link, they can send it to anyone else though.

For you overachievers, we just released two more quest chapters in Book 2: The Fortress and Inside The Keep (Chapters 6 and 7 of Book 2). Look for more in the coming weeks including a new raid boss, Valta the Ice Priestess.

The Enhanced Quest System is live!

What does this mean?

You now get to face your enemies (and allies and other stuff) when you do quests. Some enemies have lots of health and do little damage, some have little health and do lots of damage, some have both :-). Your stats have a much bigger impact on how well you do in quests. You’ll need better and better armor to keep the bad guys from dealing too much damage. Strength will help you smash locks and deal more damage. Speed will help you chase enemies down, dodge their attacks and run away if necessary. Knowledge will help when gathering information or searching for things. Fortitude will aid you in your travels, when camping or sneaking around.

While each quest will use your energy, you can make yourself “better” at that quest by boosting the appropriate stat – swapping out gear to maximize your potential!

Respecs (stat resets) are on sale until end of day Wednesday, the 13th of July.

Just added the “Summon” feature for arenas. Now you can create one and just share it with friends rather than posting it publicly (via the “Share” feature).

We just released three more quest chapters in Book 2! You can now finish the Book, fight the new raid boss Valta the Ice Priestess and advance your Book 2 Quest Level.

Couple of updates:

1. Added a Crafting tab to the detailed profile screen. The crafting ingredients will be coming soon so consider this a sort of preview.

2. Fixed a bunch of arena links that were going to the battle screen instead of going directly to the arena.

Crafting ingredients and Tier IV raids are now in! Info on where you can find the ingredients for different crafting recipes can be found in the Library. The Tier IV raids have the best odds on loot drops including the ingredients but you now have to help your allies out by equipping your generals with supplies. All supplies can be purchased for gold in the Market – most in Book 1 but some in Book 2. Supplying your generals will maximize the damage of your allies.

Tier III raids have also had their health adjusted up.

Based on people’s suggestions, the Tier IV generals now offer bonus damage (up to 12%). The regular ally damage is back to the way it was prior to the Tier IV raids.

Crafting is now fully working. Once you’ve collected the proper ingredients, you can craft scrolls and items on your detailed profile screen (click Profile, then “view detailed profile” and look for the Crafting tab next to Equipment).

If you don’t fell like collecting the ingredients, you can now also purchase the Illumitasa Defender and Gierdon Ultra Shot in the Market if you are level 25 or higher.

Just redecorated the Profile page. It’s a little easier to read and has some additional info to check out including the hero’s biggest hit against a raid boss. Each player has to activate the new feature in order for the system to start tracking hits for them.

The Highest Stat value on your detailed profile has been updated to include only the 4 primary stats: Strength, Speed, Knowledge and Fortitude. Basically, energy and stamina have been excluded.

As some of you know, I’ve recently upgraded the servers. You might not notice everything running super fast or anything now, but hopefully you won’t notice things running slower as more players play (or if you do it will be easier for me to add more resources to accommodate them). Still looking into tuning a thing or two but the db connection errors look to be eliminated based on the error logs.

Just made a few updates:

1. Added a cool little spinner when navigating between screens so you can see that something is happening. This is especially helpful if your connection has a little lag so you can see that communication is going on between your browser and the server.
2. There’s a new “Rankings” tab on the detailed profile. It will show you where you are as some people were asking for this to be added to the Hall of Legends. Knowing where the top players are is great but it’s more fun if you know where you are too.
3. Add your max streak to the Info tab on the detailed profile.

Today’s updates:

1. Wins and Gold rankings added to the detailed profile screen.
2. The Runes of Nightfall have been added to the library.
3. 4 new recipes using the runes have been added to Crafting on the detailed profile.

One more update – Tier I raids are now restricted to level 80 and below (basically once you make it to Tier IV you can’t do Tier I’s as you just do too much damage to give the lower level players a chance).

Fixed the bug that wouldn’t allow you to request more allies if you had purchased some in the market that put you over the 150 limit. Now there is a check on just the allies that are other players.

Book 3 released! New quests, new items, new ingredients and recipes, new raids, new specials….a whole lot of new stuff for you to explore. The new Book has a new market with several new items. You will also have to be level 40 or higher to join the new raids. The first two chapters are out now and more will be released in the coming weeks.

Few small updates: header info now formats better if you have really high energy/stam (greater than 1,000), gold should always have the comma separator when it updates and the raid attacker list will now update your position when you attack.
