CoG, the idea with this change was a very good one, good on you for trying, but your execution on it has fallen short.

Ed’s great idea in reality fixes all alt associated problems, since if alts hit 3 times, that person will have moved in the rankings, and the alt will as well, so they will not be able to hit again.

It also removes everyone doing all their hits at 23.00-23.29 to knock people out of arena.

being able to hit someone only 3 times is fine, so long as you can do it again in 30 minutes once ranks are updated. this would make everyone happy.

also, the removal of the close button is infuriating. please put it back. limiting to 3 hits is really enough of a deterrant to alts.

100% agreed. Maecenas and Ed said it perfectly. Arena now is a big annoying waste of time.

Ed’s idea is a great idea that would fix all the problems.
But here is another solution you can chose from;
Just make it 5x hits on one player per day, that leaves you looking for 3 less people to hit than it would for hitting one player 3 times/day, also, re-add close button.
Don’t care if you chose mine or Ed’s idea, but re-add close button whatever you do,

i like what u did with arena, but bring back the close button please. Re add close button!

The removal of the close button is a good thing. It makes the arena take more time.
3-hit limit does not effectivly fix the alt problem.
People will just make more alts to be able to 3hit themselves more.
The removal of the close button and the added 3-hit limit makes it impossible to boost with any huge consequence.
We are talking about giving 5 more minutes of your time on a game you LIKE for fixing a problem of something you really DISLIKED.
In my opinion people who whine about seconds of time are all nitpickers.
You either play a game or you dont, 5 minutes more or less wont kill you.

Thanks cog great fix. It needs some getting used to but i like it. (although i might be the only one)

I agree with fort CoG you did a great job fixing the arena. Yes not having a close button takes more time but it is by far the easiest way to protect us against alt abuse in the arena. Thank you CoG

5 minutes? No way, I’m 20 minutes in arena now and haven’t even finished half of my daily arena fights.

And if the 3-hit limit doesn’t stop players making alts, then I don’t know. If someone’s crazy enough to spend time to make hundreds accounts just to be #1 in arena, then let him to it. Maybe sooner or later he will realize that his life must really suck.

Making several accounts and keeping their all rank closer is not so easy, I think. Rather limitation to hit one player just 3 times is a great idea. It will eliminate some of alt activities. So I like the limitation. But the close button must be revived.

Not to be mean, but seeing and considering won’t cut it. Get it done. Put the close button back. Several of us players have put money in to this game and we wont the close button back. Do the right thing and get it done asap.

fortunate s6 mega noob clan epic his mega noob and one morething the arena even if ppl have altr acc thy cant hit your real acc the reson is thy need to by in close rank in arena and if your acc is lvl 100 and the altr is lvl 30 how will i hit my self give back the skip button and 20 times on one target i dont have all day to wait so i can hit 20 times 7-8 ppl it takes for ever + ther is some serious laggggggggggggggg and i have 50 mgb net so its not my pc or net and now i need to watch arena omg cog i hate you now i hope you all die :@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

hmm maybe you have three alts and lose an hour of your time, sorry for you :) he trolled me first ;)

edit. o and by the way, the best fix is to ban alternative characters completely, then the close button can come back :)

I have no alt that is fighting in arenas.

But i have better things to do than waiting for fights to end while the results are already shown before.

YOU ARE TAKING WAY TOO LONG TO FIX THE BUTTON

Not loving the increased drop rates. This makes 2 days in a row now that I have dropped 2 orange hero card II’s in a row. In short, 4 Orange Hero Card II’s in 8 dungeons.

I’m not enjoying the arena anymore. Since the update, I have skipped all of my arena fights (read, not done any). For one thing, they take too long now. For another, I am ranked higher and 7 of my 10 are alliance members and the other 3 I can’t win against. So why bother hitting them just to drop?

players are quitting do you plan to put the close button in the arena back soon before no one is left here?
most players need their honor points so you made a bad decision which you are not fixing fast enough.

Even if they have decided to restore the Close button, it probably requires them to overwrite the game files on the server (they may have already reverted it in an unpublished working file). Odds are that if it happens, it’s going to be during a maintenance outage. I doubt they’re going to take the servers down specifically for this one issue.
