# Floor percentage bonuses incorrect

My Human Resources floor in the main game says that it is currently getting a boost of 153,950%, but I know for sure that I am getting a MUCH larger boost than that. Anyone else having this issue? What do you calculate the bonus to be? I saved my characters to a team. Unassigned all, then reassigned all, and figured out the boost is almost 100 Dc% or 1e+35%. Or 1Dcx/1e+33x. The percentage bonus displayed is MASSIVELY inaccurate. > _Originally posted by **[Mylifeisgoodlol](/forums/534035/topics/1848762?page=1#13194354):**_ > My Human Resources floor in the main game says that it is currently getting a boost of 153,950%, but I know for sure that I am getting a MUCH larger boost than that. Anyone else having this issue? That’s actually a known feature/bug/issue. The % displayed is a simple addition of the bonuses that apply to the floor, but in actuality, some bonuses are multipliers of others. The way the character production bonuses works is kinda funky....but the key is to remember that the characters work off of the 100% you would be earning without them. So if you have one character at 500% bonus you add that 500% to the 100% you would earn without them and with that character you would earn 600% of what you would earn without them. to find the bonus you'd get just divide by the 100% you'd earn without them and its a 6x multiplier. Now imagine that character levelled up. they now earn a 1000% bonus which is a 1100% total or 11x multiplier. however, what if instead you get a second character worth 500%? that character would again work on the amount you would have without them so you have the original character at a 6x multiplier and the second character at a 6x multiplier for a total 36x multiplier and heres the off part. The assign screen shows the bonuses added together. Both the 11x multiplier from one character at 1000% and the 36x multiplier from two characters at 500% would display as a 1000% bonus if you play with the numbers a bit you'll see that this information is the key to optimizing your layout imagine you have a choice between placing a 3000% and a 500% or two 1500% characters going by the assign screen the choice would be 3000% and 500% for a total 3500% over the total 3000% but using this you can see that your choices are 31x6(186) or 16x16(256) and the two 1500% characters are a much better choice them doing the assign screen this way tricks players into making the wrong character choices in some instances....and made people think that nerfing bbq peter(a long time ago)was a lot worse than it actually was....i will specify that time characters and stapler boost characters work a bit different....but they barely make a dent so ill only explain them if you ask :P
