 # Faction coin find chance

Looking at the Drow bloodline, and some of the research options you can increase faction coin find chance additively AND multiplicatively. What does that actually mean? Suppose my base FC find rate is 1000% and Drow bloodline offers a 200% bonus. Additive 1000+200 = 1200% and would multiplicative then be 1000 * 2 = 2000%? For a final result of....3200%? Is that right? For additive you can keep it in percent but for multiplying you should convert it to multipliers. (1000% + 200%) x 3 = 1200% x 3 = 13 x 3 = 39 = 3800% (1000% + 200%) x 3 = (1 + 10 + 2) x 3 = 13 x 3 = 39 = 3800% (Base + Additive) x Multiplicitive = Total additive: base+bonus=1+( FC chance% +bonus%)=100%+1000%+200%=1300% multiplicative: base+bonus=100%+200%=300% The result is the final additive (1300%) times the final multiplicative (300%) result:1300% x 300% = 13x3 = 39 times the base (base+3800%) Is the above the same idea? > *Originally posted by **[Fair_play](/forums/8945/topics/1871280?page=1#13275385)**:* > Is the above the same idea? Yes, they are equivalent. However, sometimes, repeating something using different words can be beneficial.
