Sorry, about that.
I had forgotten how much weaker than other building HoL was.
Now that i think about it, it’s indeed a really huge boost.

Damn… That is good!
At really high building counts Grand Balance is now better than Lightning Strike, and you can certainly compare it to Dwarven Pickaxe comfortably now, so non-growing Luck builds are viable again at high gems and high reincarnation values. And it’s available to all Alignments, so that’s awesome!
EDIT: Next project build should be a long-term grower that uses Grand Balance. I’m thinking about Cialis but replacing Lightning Strike (and putting Druidic Vocabulary in there), and doing a ton of excavations to set it up. It only actually needs about 38/39 mana/s to work because of the natural delay between autocasted spells. Anyone who wants to make it for me gets to name it!

Just tested it against Fairystrike, and ZenStrike’s is a bit more than 10x better, so… yeah… amazing build!
Hello,i tried a new build for the 100B FC trophy, i think i could be improved but it seemed to work so far.
I used it at r7 ; 4.5 E48 gems.
100B FC is doable in 5h to 10h depending how active you are.
Tax CollecTax :
Range : R7
Characteristics : Gives a lot of FC (2.8M FC per TC cast without FC, 17M with FC+DP)

Faceless (3,1): Magical Treasure
Fairy (3,3): Swarm of Fairies
Harlequin Bonus : 343%

Instructions : wait to be full mana and use FC+DP and spam TC, or if you only have Priority Autocasting leave it with 1-2 on FC-TC.
(sorry for the lack of bold and underline, it’s the first time i post and i don’t know hot to do it)
Due to the new HoL upgrades, I’ve tried my hand at an HoL boosting build. It’s a first draft so if anyone can verify and/or improve (or come up with a good name!), please do.
**Note:** _This is based on the new update (Version 1.3.34) and will no doubt be terrible if you haven’t refreshed your game._
Range
R12 to ???
Characteristics
- Fast bursty build with better gem gains than most \*-strike builds due to the 1.3.34 update.
- Suffers from extremely low mana regen.
- Does not rely on LS.
Requires
- R12 for the max mana boost
Alignment

Spells
- Night Time
- Hellfire Blast
Tier 1 Upgrades
- Goblin (1, 1): Strong Currency
- Titan (1, 3): Oversized Legends
- Druid (1, 1): Druidic Vocabulary
- Dwarves (1, 3): Mining Prodigies
Tier 2 Upgrades
- Demon (2, 3): Demonic Presence
- Titan (2, 3): Cyclopean Strength
- Faceless (2, 3): Overgrowth
- Drow (2, 2): Blood Sacrifices
Tier 3 Upgrades
- Demon (3, 3): Very Bad Guys
- Druid (3, 3): Building Jungle
- Dwarves (3, 1): Battlehammers
- Drow (3, 2): Professional Assistants
Harlequin Bonus
343%
Bloodline
Titan or Drow
Instructions
Quickly build up, using Excavations for FC, until reaching at least 2200 max mana (any more is highly preferred). You can now start combo casting CtA + NT + HB, adding a TC or two if and when you can afford this. Clicks are useless here, TC and normal production get you everything. Abdicate whenever.
**Edit:** A quick test shows the build may be possible at high-end R11 gems (Ocd to Nod), you’d basically just get 0 TC. Might need some more verifying though.
Wouldn’t Rainbow Link or Swarm of Fairies be better than Professional Assassins? Apart from that it looks solid, I’ll give it a try next time I abdicate.
Also, since the build is a passive one, I think Drow might be better than Titan bloodline for overnight gains.

Depends on your Excavation count, for me Professional Assistants was better. If you’re going to keep a low Excavation count, then Rainbow Link can be (slightly) better.

Sorry, but how is excavations count related to assistants production in this build? I’ve honestly no idea where the connection is.

Err, right I confused myself for a second. In that case, Professional Assistants is strictly better for me then.

i reached fast 10 Vg Gems with R13, but then its slowly. Maybe some edits for better run ?
By the way i had R13 and 300 Vg Gems on me

Doesn’t seem to be appreciably better than ye olde sleepynaries build in r12. Both are stuck around e59
For the Pyrastrike, how much would change if you swapped Professional Assassins with Goblin Central Bank? Since the aim of the build seems to be getting a lucky shot with lightning then dumping all the remaining mana into Tax Collections, wouldn’t doubling the number of collections be better than the bonus from the Professional Assassins?
Sorry if this has been suggested before and I missed it on my blitz through the thread.
Does anyone know if Dan is still managing this thread? If not we could move the builds to the wiki.

Why double when you can get 20x or more out of professional assassins?

Hmm, looks like you’re right. I forgot about that build existing, tbh ;)
I mainly posted the build because it was giving me decently better and faster results than any form of pyrastrike was, and without relying on LS.
There’s one main thing I haven’t been able to test yet, namely the impact of the third Hall of X upgrade in the new HoL boosting line. going by the numbers, theoretically it should give an additional x6.67 boost to HoL.

last one is a substantial boost to it, i had 89% on hol til then, but i lacked inch punch power to get there at 450Nod
since there’s isn’t a really good fc gain build here, I’ll post one that’ll get you 100b fc in 12 hours, and 200k spells in 24
it could probably be tweaked to be more accessible at lower gem range
Faction Coin Frenzy
Range : R7+
Characteristics : makes you wonder why you ever bothered with ls for fc
**Note, this build will not earn you gems, it sacrifices production income for fc income, so you’ll need to be higher gem range**
Alignment
Evil
Spells
Fairy Chanting
~~-~~ ———-
Tier 1 Upgrades
Goblin (1,1): Strong Currency
Dwarf (1,3): Mining Prodigies
Dwarf (1,2): Expert Masonry
Titan (1,3): Oversized Legends
Tier 2 Upgrades
Druid (2,3): Shapeshifting
Angel (2,2): Angelic Wisdom
Undead (2,2): Corpse Supply
Faceless (2,2): Mitosis
Tier 3 Upgrades
Faceless (3,1): Magical Treasure
Goblin (3,1): Goblin Central Bank
Fairy (3,3): Swarm of Fairies
Demon (3,2): Burning Legion
Harlequin Bonus : 729%
Bloodline : Faceless
Instructions : Since faceless bloodline builds off of mana spent, you will just use fc+tc to get mps to buff faceless bloodline, and tc to gather fc.
You could use another spell if necessary to provide income.. Expert Masonry could probably be replaced with Sylvan Treasure Frills if you are having income problems.. I only used it to increase your assistant count, to increase your mps.
If someone would like to test it.. I feel it might be better as good, depending on how fast you can get assistants from Holy Crusader, rather than from corpse supply and burning legion.. **and it might make it more applicable to lower gem builds**
either way, I think this is much better than the only other fc build on here.. as someone I talked to had that build up at 32 hours and was making only 2-4m fc a combo, and I was making 1.1mfc a tc, after 25 hours…

You’ve got 3 upgrades on T1 that just don’t help you at all for earning either FCs or spells cast.
Try using Angel (1,3): \_\_\_ Feathers, but after that you’re not going to get great spell helpers – there’s a Druid upgrade that gives you 3 assistants plus more over time, an Undead upgrade that gives you some mana regen and a Fairy upgrade that reduces Farm costs (and therefore gives you about 3 assistants). There are also 2 Elf upgrades that increase the number of FCs you’ll receive.
A passive Build that provides consistent income compared to strike builds. As it slows down approaching R12 it can be pushed to R12 with lots of excavations (over 100 faction exchanges). I wouldn’t use it after 1 Nod (e60) gems. This build supports Spiritual Surge in Reincarnation 14.
Use: Short 5-30 minute runs with autocast gathering income.
Alignment: Neutral
Range: ?-R12
Requires: **Build no Deep Mines or Stone Pillars – Grand Balance has to hit farms, inns or blacksmiths.** Planned Autocasting. Buildings\>1800. about 2400 total mana and 60 mana regeneration once the build is running. The Druid Bloodline variant has no mana requirement (_see note_).
Instructions:
**Use Undead Heritage once it provides 80+ assistants see note “Spiritual Surge in Reincarnation 14”.**
Make enough excavations to get mana regeneration over 60 (for 3 tax collections a pass.)
Contingency Autocast Grand Balance and Call to Arms. Priority Autocast Gem Grinder, Fairy Chanting, and Tax collection in that order.
Spells
1. Grand Balance
2. Fairy Chanting
Tier 1 Upgrades
Goblin (1,1) Strong Currency
Druid (1,1) Druidic Vocabulary
Titan (1,3) Oversized Legends
Dwarf (1,3) Mining Prodigies
Alternate: Elven (1,3): Sylvan Treasure Frills
Tier 2 Upgrades
Druid (2,2) Bardic Knowledge
Titan (2,3) Cyclopean Strength
Faceless (2,1) Gold Synthesis
Faceless (2,3) Overgrowth
Alternate: Druid (2,3) Shapeshifting, For higher mana regen but less income.
Tier 3 Upgrades
Fairy (3,3) Swarm of Fairies
Dwarf (3,1) Battle Hammers
Druid (3,3) Building Jungle
Titan (3,3) Titan Obelisk
Harlequin bonus: 216% -343%
Bloodline: Demon
_Alternate Druid Bloodline build_ (Slows down at earlier gem count than Demon, but high mana regeneration.)
In Tier 2, take all 3 Druid upgrades and Titan (2,3) Cyclopean Strength.
Swap Fairy (3,3) Swarm of Fairies for Dwarf (3,2) Magic Resistance
Swap Druid (3,3) Building Jungle for Faceless (3,1) Magical Treasure
**Build Stone Pillars, and most importantly, Build a few 100 less farms than you can afford. Farms have to be less productive than Stone Pillars.** Look at tooltips to see individual building income.
Contingency Autocast: Grand Balance. Priority Autocast: Fairy Chanting, (Spiritual Surge), Gem Grinder, Call to Arms, Tax Collection.
_Spiritual Surge in Reincarnation 14_:
Swap Druid (2,2) Bardic Knowledge for Druid (2,1) Earthly Bond.
Build Stone Pillars as described in bolded comment above.
Add Spiritual Surge to the casting rotation. Contingency: Grand Balance. Priority: Spiritual Surge, Gem Grinder, Call to Arms, Fairy Chanting, Tax Collection.
Use Demon, Titan, Druid or Undead bloodline.
Undead bloodline swap Fairy (3,3) Swarm of Fairies for Drow (3,2) Professional Assassins or Fairy (3,2) Rainbow Link, possibly Dwarf (3,2) Magic Resistance.
I’m just curious, my math knowledge extends to whatever I remember at the moment from pre calc but it’s always confused me why people insist on putting starmetal alloy into blacksmith builds, It only really serves as a 2X and gives you some extra buildings, I know this causes several self reinforcing effects but I don’t understand how it can hold up against the extra 15X at minimum you’ll get from the other upgrades on that tier.
**TriForce**
Range : R12+ if you want to get Call to Arms in there
_Characteristics : I started it as a joke, but it might actually be useful – requires **only building Evil Fortresses, Hell Portals and Hall of Legends** _

This is a very powerful Hall of Legend based build for the new update, granting me half of my current gems (23.62 Qid, R11) with a single casting at only a 300% bonus from combo strike. Feel free to help me improve this, as I’m sure I’ve forgotten something.
Spells: Combo Strike, Night Time

Tier 3:

I recommend, after building up a reasonable combo strike, setting up Combo Strike (1), Night Time (2), Call to Arms (3), and skipping blood frenzy alltogether for some planned autocasting tax collections. Blood Frenzy does not increase the production of your HoL, and thus only gives you about a 40% increase to your production, which can be beaten out by three tax collections very easily.
