I believe druid bloodline breaks the game as written.
Any building→assistant, druid heritage, shapeshifting, druid bloodline, and greed combine to create a singularity.
assistant = O(sqrt(building)) (from any +asst)
building = O(total mana) (from greed)
mps = d(total mana)/dt = O(assistant (shapeshifting) \* building (druid bloodline))
Simplify that and you get dM/dt = M^(3/2), which has a finite time blowup.
Previously, with druid bloodline out, the chain caps at dM/dt = M^(1/2), which solves to M = O(t^2), or buildings quadratic on time

I sort of found this while trying it out, also. Flash crashed overnight due to the sheer amount of greed casts per second, the game could no longer keep up. After restarting I was running autocast at 1fps, took me 5 minutes to turn autocast off…
Here’s how it looks for me with only FC on:
- 129m max mana
- 23.9k mana per second
- 6084 assistants, producing an extra 761 (Shapeshifting) + 913 (Magical Treasure) mana per second
- 230k+ buildings for each building type, thus 2.5m total buildings owned
- 35hrs of setup time this run (42hrs playtime, but 7hrs offline due to crash)
- 1.698 Qid active gems this run, I can get into the Vg gems upon reset
- A single combo of CtA + FC + BF + many TC = 500 Tqag coins
- Even just running the above combo on autocast already gets me about 0.2fps

I strongly recommend everyone looking to run the same assistant frenzy build with druid bloodline, to stop their runs before they blow up. Your browser and pc get heavily taxed due to 100+ greed casts per second, and it can become near impossible for you to get the commands through to the game to turn off autocasting.

If they’re about to reincarnate, it doesn’t matter since the cost will be reset.

What are you talking about?
Try F1 = 4/(1-t)^2, and F1’(t) = 8/(1-t)^3 = (F1)^(3/2), which is a direct solution to the first equation. That solution blows up at finite time t = 1.
Try F2 = t^2/4 and F2’(t) = t/2 = F2^(1/2), which is a direct solution to the second equation.
The thing is, under current conditions, assuming the game processes 1 tick at a time and caps mana regen at max mana, this causes (supposing FPS slowdown didn’t exist and crash) an exact exponential solution.
[Edit]: Now I see what you did with WolframAlpha (I don’t need it, I’ve taught DEs) – you forget c1, c2 in the solution can be **negative** , as they need to be for the solution itself to be positive.

Sorry, I didn’t read your original post properly. I thought you were calling the post-update growth quadratic, which you are (and were!) clearly aware is not true.

Yeah, I meant **without** druidblood… I typed it up early in the morning.

can you tell me what upgrades you took?

So has anyone worked out where Realm Grinder’s ultimate wall is?
Successive Assistant Frenzy builds will eventually hit the computational power wall, where the build blows up in your face before you have a chance to make decent gem gains. I’m expecting this to be somewhere around R30-40, but haven’t actually done the maths.

So the singularity problem is solved just with removing GG and giving us instead some kind of another Coin Pillaged Tax Collection. Oh well, how simple and elegant; it seems that a whole branch of Mercenary Builds is sawn off.
