I think 2M% will do you fine, but if you want to check, what I like to do with offline research is compare the total offline bonus on the tooltip for production to what a spell combo would earn per second averaged out across the time it takes from start of the combo until the mana bar is refilled, and if the offline boost is at least close to the spell combo average then you’re going to be making good gains
