Hi there,
currently I’m at R16 with 1.5e70 gems with an IGOT run. Is this built capable of getting me to 1e75 gems (R17)? Or should I abdicate to get 1e71 oder 1e72 gems (almost there) and go into research to reach R17-gem wall?
thx

Well it’s possible to get there with IGOT, but why would you do that in the first place?
Research is faster and more exciting than IGOT for weeks.

Well, that was exactly my question. IGOT is pain in the ass. So I’m going to abdicate soon and going into research

If you ran an IGOT, then your offline bonus should be huge (A55) so use that + drow bloodline and you’ll speed through everything research based.

I don’t think IGOT contributes to drowline bonus at all, and if you are suggesting offline production it’s probably only better for the first 30 minutes in your run, and even that won’t really get you relevant production since you actually speed through researches due to the gems from IGOT up to the 105 RPs roughly and most time is spent to meet the unlock requirement instead of production, so that 1-2million% offline production never got relevant. It’s also quite a bummer that it’s not enough to make undead faction D25 strong enough to compete with elves/titan (or demon/titan for the 2 days evil time) for the gem production before your last few research unlocks and very far away from Goblin’s production at the end of R16.

Eh. Personally I found that for research, I didn’t get all that many gems until I used A55 + Drow Bloodline, at which point I went very quickly through everything. But then I wasn’t at 1e70, I was at 1e67 or 1e68 or something, so maybe if I had had more gems I would have found online builds more effective.
