I only own one gun, a stubby. It was my grandfathers gun who served in the NYPD for 30 years as a uni who walked the beat. He gave it to me before he died and told me to protect myself with it if needed.

I have no idea if it still works.

Maybe you should get it out and clean it up. You know S&W quit making the M36 Chiefs Special a few years ago and they are really sought after, especially the older ones as they were very well built.

an old police service revolver sounds very cool to own, whether as a carry gun or a display peice. Being that it’s a revolver, especially an S&W, i am quite certain it still works.

warlord, have you ever heard of a lever action .410 shotgun? Winchester was making them for awhile before they closed the plant. I never see them on the market, even in the used market. I wonder if they only sold a few or if people are just hanging on to them?

someone in another forum mentioned a winchester model that they had, one “9410” or something along those lines.

Yes, that is it. It looks just like a Winchester M94 but is chambered for the .410 shotgun shell. I had not seen that link before, thanks.

Guns are cool and all but they’re used to shed blood and send souls to the afterlife. I mean, swat and the army have guns because t’s their job. Anyway, collecting guns are too expensive and you would use about them every once in a lifetime really except if you were in the army or you had some major enemies like the maffia

“Guns are used to shed blood and send souls to the afterlife”. Classic Anti-Rights bullshit. Guns are also used to defend your home, family and property from those who would seek to do them harm

“you would use them every once in a lifetime really” 1.) that once in a lifetime would probably mean the difference between life and death 2.) ever heard of sport shooting, dumbass?

Can’t think of anything off the top of my head. That is going to be a really fun gun when you are done. Check into getting surplus rounds off the internet or a local gun shop. You can save a lot of money and do more shooting.

Already have some. Would yousay that ~$.25/ round is a good price for surplus ammo?

darkninja usually gets like 20 rounds for around 6 bucks so yea ,25 a rd is good but if its corrosive primer ammo darkninja highly suggest you get some hopps 9 or ammonia to swab your barrel as soom as possible after firing it the ammonia neutralizes the potassium salts

A little sage for my friends……….

Don’t pick a fight with an old man. If he’s too old to fight, he’ll just kill you.

If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck.

A pipe gives a wise man time to think and a fool something to stick in his mouth

Then they should be treated as being threats to society.

If you’re finding yourself in a fair fight, superior tactics will determine the outcome.

Any idiot can bring two million soldiers and go invade whatever country that doesn’t have an army.

The last one, did not make sense.

LOL! Lucas, you tickle me a bit. Here is a really interesting link to the Afghan gun trade.

In the second quote, I said exactly what you said. The last sentence referred to a smoking pipe.

I know, it is amazing isn’t it? Some of them design their own and build them. I always get a kick out of the anti-gunners who say if we ban them they will be gone. Manufacture will just go underground. Here are some of our boys at work.

No, not to sound mean or anything, sorry if it feels like I’m picking on you. I just read,

“A pipe gives a wise man time to think and a fool something to stick in his mouth”

trying to find something meaningful but was like wtf.
