I’ve noticed that no one has talked about Emperor Norton I, so I decided to make a thread for His Imperial Majesty. So lets just talk about him, discuss our opinions on whether he was a mad man or a genius.
In my personal opinion, he had to be a little crazy to do what he did. But he somehow managed to pull it off, and had a healthy life until his death. It still shocks me a little at how quickly the entire city of San Francisco took him in and praised him.
