I thought as a Jew you would know why and that you would believe him to be a false messiah, one of which has had a huge impact in history.
Basically, as someone who should know quite a lot of their religion, you should of at least one time learned about Jesus and I’m just interested why people pray to this mushroom.
Apparently though this mushroom has nothing to do with you despite at one time being Jewish which is kind of odd.
What are your views on this?

Again, why are you asking ME things, that are related to what OTHERS think?
It’s like asking YOU about why American Indians smoked the pipe – or worse.
And your question is quit stupid on itself – there were more false guys throughout history, just with less negative effects.
Anyways, how should I know, why people do/think what they do?
(Hint: I just don’t want to start this topic, as in “other religion bashing” – not the place and not quite worth it.)

This is probably the main reason for my feud vs evolution.
Well, if you try not to generalise your bad experiences towards others, we may have a good start here.

Sorry, was playing GCL!
My very first full x75 endurance, pheeeeewwww…
Hehehe… :DDD
I had very little good experiences in that field, mostly people tend to choose either option as the only one.
Anyways, I’m tired of this (and GCL, hehehe), so I’m off the discussion for now.

613: Your behavior is rather trollish by most standards: repeating already-refuted claims, using all caps, claiming persecution, projecting your own faults onto your opponents, and reducing the thread to essentially another pissing contest between theists and atheists. Before accusing me of ad hominem, I am in no way using your character on this thread to declare your arguments invalid. However, your delivery does make your arguments appear weak, even if they may turn out correct. Finally, this isn’t a sporting event; If my arguments are unsound or invalid, yours do not win by default; this is a common misconception among believers who take up discussion or debate.

613: Your entire argument is one from ignorance/personal indredulity stemming from foundational bias with a healthy dose of burden shifting, moving the goalposts, and argumentum ad absurdum. Your reasoning was faulty even before you typed in your first post. And now this last response of yours is nothing but total nonsense that defies classification as a logical fallacy. I see fears of being wrong or not knowing in these posts.
Again, all current evidence forwarded by believers re: the existence of any god or gods whatsoever has not passed muster. As for your deity of choice, he cannot exist as commonly advertised. If your god does exist, it is more likely that he/she/it exists as a radiclly different entity.

Well, you have your opinion, I have mine.
The most true one is the one that makes one’s life happier and productive. :DDD
If you feel happier to be an advanced monkey, rather than a spiritual being with a soul and a free choice – it’s up to you to choose. :DDDDD

Depends on the definition.
We ARE immortal in our children’s children, especially when they continue in our ways…

It’s not as “stupid” as you think, tenco.
If we view ourselves as advanced monkeys, we live in the “jungle”.
If, on the other hand, we strive to reveal our souls, we live to “make HERE into Paradise”.
Each one’s goal is directly linked to the basic self-view.
And I was serious about being “immortal” in our children, when they continue on with our life goals.
Of course, you need to HAVE such goals, to feel this way. :DDD

613: What are the properties of the soul?
What are the properties of your god?
How does this “free choice” you speak of work?
What makes immortality so desirable?
Indeed, how do you know any of these even exist/are possible?
The fact that I am a mere ape with more complex brain function makes life no less wondrous. If you ask me, “Goddidit” is a failure of imagination.

I just wanna see, are you talking from experience, or theoretically.
I don’t yet have children, but I fully understand the idea of being happy by looking at how your child is continuing your life into his/her.
Though, it might not be the case for the “monkey”. :DDD
Joking? Hope so…..

Experience, though not in the sense you may think.

Yeah… You’re kind of missing an important detail, there.
Though, it might not be the case for the “monkey”. :DDD
Do you like not making sense, because you seem to do it a lot.

I meant personal immortality. It makes me happier, therefore it is the most true.
edit:
Speaking from personal experience, I don’t see where my parent’s goals and mine overlap, or where they live on through me. I’m many things they do not want me to be, and they are many things I don’t want to be. Did I end their immortality by being an individual?
