Back to the matter at hand; the court has deemed Zimmerman a flight risk due to his previous dishonesty.

ZIMMERMAN IS INNOCENT!!

Lets look at the facts:

1. Zimmerman followed Trayvon to make sure he wasn’t a threat
2. Trayvon approached Zimmerman and told him to go away.
3. Fearing for his life, Big Z grabbed his gun to stop this obvious criminal.
4. Trayvon attacked Z for NO REASON
5. Zimmerman was FORCED TO SHOOT TO PROTECT HIS OWN LIFE

Anyone who disagrees is racist against Zimmerman, who is a latino

I didn’t say you were a racist because black people don’t deserve to die. I’m not a lawyer. I’m not a cop. And I never said there wasn’t a reason Zimmerman was assaulted. You’re misunderstanding my point of interest here: liberal media bias. The media portrayed Trayvon to be some innocent little boy…but, in reality, he was kind of a punk.

No. Just read the facts. There is a TON of ambiguity behind this case. And “poor lil’ Trayvon” wasn’t near as “innocent and sweet” as the media made him out to be. And Zimmerman wasn’t near as “evil and devilish” as the media made him out to be…hell, the media even came up with essentially a new race to describe him…“white Hispanic”…how many ppl do you that describe themselves as a “white hispanic”…I don’t know any.

Yes…but it really shouldn’t matter at all what race you are or what race the victim is when a crime is committed. That should be an irrelevant fact when the verdict is given.

Dark, if I’m not mistaken (and I “NEVER” am…lol), ya’ve raised this point before. Is this how it is in England jurisprudence?

Here in America, the “accussed” is considered innocent until PROVEN GUILTY of the crime for which they are on trial. AND, there is no “burden of proof” for defending the victim. Actually, in criminal cases, the “victim” is society,,,,regardless of who personally the crime was committed “on”. Ergo, society has to prove that the defendant has indeed commited a crime against it…..broken a criminal law.

In CIVIL law, the victim can sue the fuck out of the wrong-doer. AND, the burden of proof isn’t nearly as high to get a conviction as it is in CRIMINAL COURT. Martin’s family could do quite well at having some of Zimmerman’s assests.

Pretty much, innocent until proven guilty. The defense of people who kill just have to create a reasonable doubt. The prosecution has to eliminate any reasonable doubt from the jury. This notion of innocent until proven guilty is part of the UN’s human rights charter, so it’s not terribly bizarre.
