If you could write a letter to God...

AX: There is a higher power, a God of some sort.

Do not debate religion in this thread. This is a discussion of what you would ask of a higher power if you could directly sent a request to it.

You have the opportunity to send a message to God. What would you say in this message? What would you ask for?

I’d ask him just what did he have to say for himself! Unacceptable behaviour from a supreme being, he needs to make an account of himself and apologise. And then go sit in the naughty universe for a while and think about what he’s done.

I often wonder if “God” has already been given a “time out”….
for it so often, readily, greatly, hurtfully seems He has forsaken us.
I mean, this life likely IS NOT (no longer?) an Eden,,,,
ergo the “challenge” of Yin-Yang….good-evil.

BUT, it—as in sooooo much of life I have seen—is the extreeeeme extent the “challenges” & resulting hurt that greatly “concerns” me. I would surmise many others (esp. today’s youth?) feel the same and are “withdrawing” from “religion” in droves.

To the creator of all things,

Why did you do this and why shouldn’t you be punished for it? What absolves you from responsibility? I actually don’t care why you did this, I only want to know because it has bearing on the question of responsibility. While you’re thinking about how to answer those questions could you maybe do something about this suffering and death thing. It seems a large design flaw and I hope you’ll at least issue a temporary patch to tide us over until a more permanent patch can be released. Please send some sort of clear and unambiguous confirmation that you have received this message as soon as possible even if you choose not to answer the questions. I would like to give you a second chance but your customer service has been severely lacking in the past. You may want to look into that with a focus on communication skills. Thank you for your time.
