Well, OP, the only reason I hate people like you is because you’re basically screaming “I’m a whiney little kid who has problems!” Regardless of whether or not you actually have problems, nobody should go around pity hunting. Also chains are fucking ugly.

In other words, stereotypical distortion is the main root of all this irrational hatred as applicable to many other things also. The details are in the words of onlineidiot.
I personally dislike emo-style simply because it provokes an impression of carelessness and extremity in conduct of which I, being a person of mild demeanor, cannot appreciate.

One of my favorite jokes about emos:

Kind of sums up the mindset/movement I think is “emo”. It’s just a way to stand out and fit in within a different subculture or something.

Being emo is a phase. Everyone (yes, even myself) grows out of it. Most people don’t care, but it can be irritating when your friends go on and on about how their lives suck and how they’ll never find love and blah blah blah. Depression is not the same as just whining non-stop.

Emos will just grow out of it eventually. I ignore them if they walk down the street, unless they come up to me and start annoying me. I grew out of my emo phase, all I have to show for it is a couple of faint scars on my arms and a dislike of most emo music.

Because they have the attitude of a spoiled brat, attention seeking clothing and other crap, and the personality of a little girl (VERY SENSITIVE HOLY SH*T). Girls that do that are alright though..

Jesus Christ says “Love thy Neighbor”. Rest assured that anybody who would persucute you because of the clothes you wear, the music you like, or the way you style your hair will recive their just reward.
Jesus also says “Love those who persucute you”. Wrath is a sin, and do not give in to temptation. That is what Lucifer wants.
And know, that Jesus loves you!!
Amen.

Amen. Well, I’m very happy THAT works for YOU.
BUT, I’d like to know if YOU do anything at all about the issue//problem? Do YOU show “Christian support” for those who are bullied? Do YOU “test your faith” by telling the bully s/he will receive their “just reward”?
Or, do ya just eat the “shit-of-life” cuz God-in Heaven has lots of tooth paste & mouth wash?

Goth’s limp-wristed cross-dressing little brother got his heart broken, and he wants the world to see the mascara streaks as he wails on webcam. An intentionally effeminate musical genre that encourages people to wallow in self-pity and whine about their lives, emo has reduced an entire generation of American males to falsely brooding, whimpering Twilight fans who would rather have a good cry and cut themselves to the sounds of geometric hairstyles than man up and deal with their daddy issues. If musical genres were oddballs of our childhood, emo is the creepy weird girl down the street who regularly shat herself on purpose because she wanted everyone to smell it.

That description at the start honestly screams “Punk” to me rather than “Emo” if I saw them in the street, the description only lacking rainbow hair. Just saying.
Anyway, I doubt it should logically be bothered about unless someone walks up to you and starts directly talking to and whining to you about it against your will and being annoying, or other more directly annoying things than what someone is wearing. Emotional status is a personal aspect. If someone messes with you because of that, and is purposely trying to, then they’re probably just some stupid asshole with the emotional range of a slug, or they get their kicks out of doing such things to people. I see tthere as being a line between “Emo” and “Annoying attention whore.”.
